Things that happened in my life that will now be part of my daughter of Poseidon childhood
So as I'm sure you don't remember, my daughter of Poseidon oc is Molly Jackson, Percy's full blood younger sister (three year age difference). That being said, she grew up with Percy and experienced the same things he experienced.
Them being the kind of kids parents probably wish they had when it came to healthy foods. Eating fruits and veggies with no complaint. They ate whatever was in front of them.
I like to think one of Sally's jobs, before working at Sweet on America, was working at the 99 Cents Store (like when Molly was 7/8 and Percy 10/11 at oldest when she left). She'd buy the fruits and veggies and the fruit and veggie platters and when she got home, that is what she put in front of them and they ate with no complaint.
Not exclusive to just healthy food, just whatever is in front of them that is edible and digestible, they will eat. No negotiating with them, no "just one more bite," no complaints about fruits and veg (when am I gonna stop mentioning that, lol).
Given the type of "parent" Gabe was, I like to think he didn't care who the food is for, if he wants it he'll eat it. So for the Jacksons there was no "I'll save it for later" (especially pizza). If Gabe wants to eat it he will, even if it's labeled. But if it's blue Gabe will not eat it. Dessert wasn't a grantee.
It's not that they're picky with food, but they do develop their own tastes after Gabe, they were just lucky the had something to eat. Like Percy not liking spicy food. Kid Molly going from all cake is good to "this is not the correct chocolate cake" and not liking soups and sandwiches.
Percy not fond of green beans/peas, Molly not fond of leafy greens like lettuce and cabbage but kale was somehow okay. Carrots, celery, broccoli? Fine, ranch will improve it, yes, will they still eat it without, also yes.

Younger them could've made it as models looks wise, especially Molly when in front of the camera taking direction. Yet most of their baby photos look professional, like Sally hired a photographer instead of Sally taking the picture herself or asking someone else to snap the photo. Even school IDs looked good. But state and license photos are the actual questionable ones.
They never had the "yikes" photos from any era (except state and license). They were more "this is oddly charming." Because kid teeth are a thing. They both hate the camera, but the camera likes them.
But the one time Sally did take them to a photoshoot, it was a K Mart one. It was a disaster. Especially for Molly.
That one school photo outside that their teacher took? Questionable, they got the kid teeth but still looked cute/adorable because kids.
An Easter photoshoot. Molly in a white dress, socks and shoes. Probably like 4 years old. Standing next to a fake tree stump that has colorful eggs and a fake bunny on top.
The only thing wrong with the photo: Molly is crying literal tears because she was scared of the bunny.
The photographer is trying to get her to stop crying trying to save the photo. One she's clearly upset (not even sweets could save it). The other you can't see the tears but there's still a look of "get me out of here" semi recovered.
Sally never took then to a studio for family photoshoots again.
