"Rambo" di David Morrell, ed. NPE @nicolapescehimself Tralasciamo la copertina più brutta che anonima (a questo punto preferisco quelle di Midjourney). Ma che libro bomba ho letto? Il primo film di Rambo è un gioiellino, ma leggere il libro da cui tutto è nato è stato illuminante. Personaggi ricchi, con sfumature. Ritmo pazzesco. Un finale commovente (non è quello del film). Viktorya İngiltere'sinin en muhalif yazarlarından Thomas De Quincy (Bir İngiliz Afyon Tiryakisinin İtirafları, döneminde büyük skandal yaratmış) bu kitapta baş kahraman rolünde. Cinayetler fazlasıyla tasvir edilmiş dolayısıyla kimi zaman bayağı rahatsız edici ancak dönemi çok güzel yansıtıyor. Kanımca şimdilik! tek sıkıntı çeviride. İngilizcede sen/siz ayırımı olmadığı için, çevirmen, polis memurunun, üstüne yani müfettişine sen diye hitap edemeyeceğini düşünmediği için, eserde anlam düşüklüğü oluşmuş.
