My carriage finally arrives at the Bloodhaven estate in the early morning, my guards still blinking sleep from their eyes. They are to help me and my luggage to my quarters and then set off again later on this evening for home.
I'm glad to be rid of them. But still, it is only the slightest bit upsetting- I am still alone here. I was offered a dance at the ball by the host himself, but it was in response to my own complaint that none offered to take me on their arm to the event. I stand at the front of the castle with seemingly no guidance and no one to help me. Which is... Fine.
I shake off my nerves and look again at the mysterious note I had received the night before. "The Knights Have Decided", with a tufted vetch flower pinned to it. I slip it into a pocket in the folds of my dress. I'll have to ask the Baron about this, if I can catch him unoccupied.
