Man-Bat from LEGO Batman (1) did literally NOTHING wrong.

He deployed one or two penguin boxes and may have helped the Penguin get to the zoo but apart from that he did literally nothing.

He was just being there, vibing in the zoo and Batman beat the shit out of him for being nonhuman.

And how did Batman do it? By exploiting his noise sensory sensitivities which is ableist as hell🔥🔥🔥

Batman could have focused on stopping the Penguin from taking the entire city hostage but NOO, beating the shit out of a nonhuman who is just existing is PRIORITY.

Least favourite level.

Anyway, that's probably why we have a Man-Bat fictive from LEGO Batman, hi Kirk.

Oh, you mean the Remnant sector?

We always thought about the Remnant sector as a time in our past rather than a place in space, which makes sense, since it has been completely isolated and cut out from the rest of the system ever since other sectors formed.

But Andradite and Ƿynn unlocked the passages to it in 2020.

It still makes sense to think of it as a place in the past, really, since you have to travel in the 4th dimension to go to it, and the 4th dimension in the outer world is time.

And all places in our inner world are naturally sorted in a neat order in the 4th dimension from older to newer because new places form between the front and the older place. So it really does function like time, except past places... keep existing, and happening, in the past. Time works just like any dimension of space in our system, past things keep existing and happening, alongside new things, just "over there".

Since we came to know Minervo and Konshu, they've always been telling us their homeland in our inner world is heavily influenced by Upper Egypt specifically, and not at all by Lower Egypt.

I never gave it much thought because I never had a single idea what this meant.

Right now I'm finding out all Hybrit deities correspond to Egyptian deities from Upper Egypt specifically.

How did they KNOW, all the way from that part of the inner world, never coming to front, what comes from Upper Egypt and what comes from Lower Egypt?

We don't know that! I don't have recollection or records of any research. How does our brain do that? How did it KNOW!?

"Ra is a Lower Egypt deity, we don't have that"

—okay, but Anubis is famous in the outer world as well, isn't him from Lower Egypt?

WRONG, he's from Upper Egypt, like Khonshu.

Our Daybreaker languages borrow words from all over the place and it's so strange to look at list of example words and seeing unmodified words straight up from ancient Egyptian next to "pizza" and "Minecraft".

It definitely materializes our system's vibes of being atemporal and mixing up past, present and future.

Some of our langs have an ancient feel so it's disconserting to be reminded they're modern languages spoken in 2023.
