Haven’t actually been able to sit in draw in a while, so I figured drawing comic Edwin might be a nice refresher :)

I just had a revelation.

Comic Edwin canonically loves jazz.

Netflix Charles is a ska-punk.

Ska is just as chaotic and fun as jazz is.

Charles introduces Edwin to ska, Edwin introduces Charles to jazz, and they both love it. That's why they have so much fun dancing.

What I really hope the DBDA team can pull off at this point is a Legend of Korra situation, where they take the story into comic form and continue it there. Because I’d buy ten copies of those comics and read them over and over until the day I die.

Edit: Yes!!! I know they started off as comics!!! I have read them! But those comics weren’t written by the people who wrote the show!!! The stories are totally different!!

kind of loving the fact that in the comics, the autism-coding with edwin is still there; it's just that instead of having 'i can speak a kajillion languages' type autism, he just has 'warrior cats fan' type autism
