Actually obsessed with the fact that Sherlock is established to have dedicated lockpicking tools that he keeps on his person in 1x04, and yet in 1x06 he asks Cordelia for a hairpin to pick the lock of the office building. I will never get over the casting for the Holmes family, specifically Sherlock and Beatrice because it’s insane to me that two of the Holmes’ family actors are actually related and it’s NOT them. It just adds so much to how the characters constantly parallel each other narratively, and it genuinely catches me off guard every time.
I cannot stop thinking about how much layers this adds to James’ relationship to both of them
