1) What made you ship it? When I first got into Jojo, the only canon ships I really liked were JonaEri and Yasugap... I also loved the potential of OkuRei after finishing Part 4 on Toonami, but in an AU. Yukakoi is fine, and I was completely fine with Josuke being just a dude, y'know???

Until I read more of Jojolion, and completely fell in love with the Yasugap ship. It just got me thinking, since Yasuho is "female!Koichi", and she's together with Jo2uke... could that mean 4!Josuke could get together with Koichi's sister in the OGverse, with her being a Hirose girl too???

And before you know it, JJ... I was lost in various daydreams and plotbunnies of the two hitting it off and did my best to study of what little of personality and traits Ayana had throughout the DIU anime/manga and sprinkled in a little more character for her.

2) What are your favorite things about this ship? Josuke is confident, cool and kind. He usually is aloof and incredibly uninterested in girls chasing him and confessing their love. He would like nothing more than pure romance, and to fall for someone who harnesses the power of kindness just like himself.

Ayana is shown to be timid and quite apologetic and playful, not to mention polite towards guests.

I like little moments that I've made for these two, or imaginings. Like Ayana always serving Josuke tea when he comes over, and he's such a blushing dork around her and because of that he loses a round in Smash Bros to Okuyasu and Koichi.

And... the whole DID situation that I like between them. Him being her knight in shining diamonds, her being the key to his heart during stressful or frustrating situations.

He's always there to reassure confidence in herself. She's at his side to support him every step of the way, allowing him to become completely vulnerable. (Despite she can't see Stands.)

3) Is there an unpopular opinion you have on the ship? The fandom doesn't care tf about Ayana, and I can understand why. She's not a Stand user, nor an important character in the story. She hardly even has a character, though she plays an important role for Koichi's development as his sister, his blood relation.

There's not a snowball's chance in H-e-double hockeysticks of these two having a happily ever after, and I'm okay with that. Shipping crack and rarepairs is all in good fun! And I'm here spread it!

6. Do you have your work beta'd? How important is this to your process?

I should ask for a beta, but my stuff is always short and simple oneshots so I typically edit everything myself

I do think betas are important for writing and every author should consider getting one though. I just don’t have one because I feel weird asking someone to read something for a fandom they’re not really in

12. how does receiving or not receiving feedback/support impact you?

I love feedback. I always want people to tell me what they think of my writing. Whether they like it or not I crave that information because it lets me know what I’m doing right and what I’m doing wrong

If I don’t receive feedback I get the impression that people probably didn’t like what I wrote, but I have no way of knowing that so I can’t figure out how to improve if it’s the case
