“Woah! I didn’t know you can cook a 5 star meal!” Wally said as he blitz over to check out the steak you made with asparagus. You only shrugged as you sit the place down, Wally immediately gobbled it up. Ending with him with a bloated belly filled with a good hot meal.

Robin walks in the kitchen to see you cleaning where you cooked as Wally looked at his best friend. “Dude! Sups over here can cook a mean dish. You gotta try their steak” he says. Robin smiled, “Aw man..wish I had my own plate when I came earlier..”

You rolled your eyes as you opened the microwave to pull out an extra plate of what Wally had. “I heard your stomach growling birdy. Eat up.” You put the plate gently on the counter as robin got a knife and fork to eat it. As he took the first bite, he went into flavor town as he couldn’t believe you made this. “Woah..”

“I know right dude! It’s amazing..you don’t mind if I take a small piece rig—” “NO BACK OFF WALLY!” Robin immediately covered his plate with his body. Eyes furrowed down, Wally backed away shock. “Woah man..didn’t know you were that hungry.” And with that, Wally sped off. Leaving you and Robin alone, you laughed at the speedster speeding away as Robin went ham mode on the steak.

Having steak juice running from his mouth made you cringe. You grabbed a paper towel as you inched towards him, wiping the juices off his mouth and side of his lips. You felt Robin tense with hearing his heart rate go up. The boy wonder slowly turns his head at you, you tried to ignore the teen’s stare as you wiped the last mess on his lips. Throwing away the paper towel, Robin caught your attention when he grabbed your wrist gently.

“Whoever marries you in the future is one lucky bastard.” He says with a smile, he then goes back to eating the steak and asparagus. You only laughed, walking out the kitchen as the boy wonder feed himself to what he feel inlove with.

Years later….

Dick was in his casual clothes as he looked outside the window, showing the beautiful night sky. He smiled, looking down at his left hand. That beautiful ring that shows off who he belongs to, that moment was ruined when his stomach growled. Dick groaned, sitting down in his bed as he wondered when dinner will be done.

But the gods have answered when your voice ran through the apartment

“DICK!! Dinner is done, I can hear that monster of your stomach calling for food!” You yelled, ending it with that beautiful laugh of yours. Dick’s eyes widened, getting up from the bed and running down the hall to the kitchen. There you were with an apron as Hailey barked seeing her human dad. “Ah it’s my favorite…the one that made me fall in love with you.” He pointed to the plate you held out to him.

“Steak and asparagus.” You both said, laughing before dick kissed you sweetly on your lips. You had to move the plate from you as dick then started to hungrily kiss you, having one hand on your lower back. Pushing your body towards him more. You had to break the kiss as dick laid his head on your shoulder.

“Cmon let’s eat, dick..” you said smiling, dick hummed. Smiling with a nod of his own he took his plate while you took yours.

He sure is a lucky bastard for life.

Jason Todd never really knew what peace felt like.

Not in the alley. Not in the Pit. Not even during those in-between moments where he sort of existed but also kind of didn't.

But this? This was a new breed of torment.

It began innocently enough. With a wedding anniversary.

Yours and Bruce's, to be specific.

Jason figured the least he could do was bring dessert.

Not out of obligation, but because, for once, he wanted to.

It wasn't just any gathering. It was his chance to be a part of the family again.

So he baked.

Took classes. Practiced. Cursed. Burnt things. Tried again. Because when the world felt sharp and ugly, folding dough and swirling ganache was something he could control.

He wasn't baking for praise.

He was baking because he wanted to say thank you— to Bruce, for second chances; to you, for never giving up on him, not even at his worst.

You never called him a failure.

You called him son.

You called him home.

So yeah, desserts felt like a fair trade.

He didn't expect anything.

Dropped the trays off at the party.

Avoided making eye contact with the cakes like they'd judge him.

And then he got ambushed by love.

You never let his hand go, Bruce ruffled his hair like he was twelve again, Dick kissed his cheek like it was The Godfather, Tim and Steph were filming, Babs asked him to dance, Cass and Damian flanked you and Bruce like adorable bodyguards. Even Duke was hitting high notes in a Beyoncé medley and asked him sing along.

The Justice League was there. So were the Titans and Avengers.

Why? Who knows. Multiverse, probably.

Jason was fine.

Until the phone calls started.

Clark Kent left six voicemails in 48 hours.

"Jason, Lois threatened to divorce me if I don't get her more of your cinnamon rolls."

Happy Hogan sent a formal request through Stark Industries for a dozen butter cookies and two "existentially transformative" chocolate muffins.

Thor sent a raven. A raven. The thing squawked at his window until Jason tossed it a cookie. It dropped a gold coin and vanished in lightning.

And then Wade Wilson showed up, covered in glitter.

"Babe. Jay, Red Daddy. I need, like, 12 dozen of those orgasmic brownies. I'm trying to woo Spidey."

Jason just blinked. "I'm not a bakery."

"You are now." Wade winked. "I saw God, Jason. She said you bake better than Her."

When Jason told you, you howled.

"Not funny, Ma."

"Sweetheart, it's hilarious. My baby boy? A baker? That's adorable."

"I'm not a baker." He grumbled, elbows on the kitchen counter, staring at the handwritten order forms.

Except... he kind of was.

Not professionally. But there was something comforting in it. In being that one warm thing someone remembered on their bad days.

The way his family had been for him.

Still, he underestimated just how much people would pay.

"How much for a dozen cookies?" Tony Stark asked casually after a Batcave meeting.

"No."

"Price, Hood."

Jason groaned. "Fine. A million bucks each. Go away."

He walked off, expecting sarcasm.

Instead— ping!

Bank Alert: Deposit: $50,000,000.00 | Memo: COOKIES <3 – Stark Industries.

Jason stared at it like it personally insulted his ancestors while Tony flies away.

Bruce entered the room. "What's wrong?"

Jason looked up, face pale. "I think I accidentally started a dessert cult."

Bruce nodded solemnly. "I'm proud of you, son."

"Oh for fuck's sake—"

He paced the kitchen, swearing under his breath, before yanking the flour bag out like it owed him money. "This is stupid. I didn't ask for this. I don't want cult followers! I just wanted to bake for my family!"

But he baked anyway.

Muttering profanities like prayer, rolling dough like it had personally wronged him.

Then you showed up to help. And then Dick.

Tim wandered in at 3 AM with three energy drinks and coded an automated system that tracked orders and drone delivery routes.

Damian pushed him aside one day. "Move, Todd. Your frosting technique is abysmal."

Cass iced cookies with sniper-level precision.

Barbara handled the backend, threatening to reprogram Tim’s system to block Wade Wilson’s IP.

Steph composed a bakery jingle.

Duke decorated cookies better than Pinterest moms.

And Alfred? He manned the ovens like it was wartime.

What was once a kitchen— his sanctuary— had become a warzone of flour, sugar, and love.

Bruce passed by, expression unreadable, occasionally packing pies with surgical grace and absolutely no emotional commentary.

Sometimes Jason caught himself staring.

At you, playfully distracting Bruce with kisses.

At Dick and Steph, singing Cooking by the Book and forcing Damian to join them.

At Duke, calmly folding chocolate with a soft smile.

At Tim face-down on the counter, asleep next to a tray of macarons.

At Alfred, gently guiding Cass and Barbara with the batter.

Jason felt something shift.

Something deep.

Something raw.

Something that hadn't stopped hurting since that alley.

This wasn’t peace.

It was messier.

Louder.

Stickier.

But it was family.

It was healing.

"You okay, baby?" You ask, noticing his far-off look.

He smiles. "Yeah, Ma. I think I'm getting there."

You smile back, kissing his cheek.

Maybe he could bake a little longer.

At least until he figured out how to escape his own pastry cult.

Hi, could I request Jonathan, riddler, bane, and slade reacting to their boyfriend being able to basically chill with any animal, like you could find him sunbathing next to a crocodile, or randomly holding a incredibleing venous animal. Just because he's chill like that, but the moment someone else coming to close the animal(if it's dangerous) trys to attack them like it usually would. So basically the reader being like a capybara?

DC Villains x Male!Reader

DC Preferences: Animal Lover

(This sounds like something he would probably do too in my opinion lol) Riddler thinks this is amazing, and probably the type of mf that would use this for one of his plans for fucking some shit. He feels like the animals are under your command in a way, with how they would try to attack other people when they come close. Even when it comes to the rats he uses, you have the loving urge to just pet and take care of them.

At first, Slade is cautious when he first sees you with some kind of dangerous animal, and his protective instincts kick in. But once you reassure him that the animals won't hurt you (all while petting a rattlesnake that's just chilling in your hands lmao), he trusts you to keep a close eye on them. He probably won't be chilling with them with you, but he does find joy in your love for animals and how fearless you are of them.

Jonathan finds it fascinating, how you can just hang around with such dangerous animals without any fear. Sometimes, he'll carefully watch their behavior and how they rest in your arms or beside you with ease, trying to figure out what's so special about you(/gen).

Bane trusts you to keep the animals under control, especially with how calm they are around you. He might reccomend you using these animals to your advantage to get what you want.

Tim Drake / Red Robin: It would be very subtle. Tim is not one to get up in your personal business and its not his place to tell you who to hang out. He’s also one to keep his cool and be calm and collected and hear your side of the story but holy guacamole when he sees that guy laying a hand on you he will legit see red for a sec and he would want to take you away and give that guy a peace of his mind. He talks about it with you and you realize that he doesn’t like you spending so much time with this guy especially alone. You laugh and then understand and you bring it up all the time which he hates. He also goes against that he was ever jealous and cuddles up to you and has his hand either on your back or holding yours to show everyone that you are his. 

Damian Wayne / Robin: He does not like to share and doesn’t want no man looking at you with any intent on even being friends with you. He flat out will whoop somebody that thinks of being with you or touches you. It irks him when guys think they can stroll up and take you as theirs when it is very clear who you belong to and you belong to Damian. He sees the conversation and thinks of going over there and killing this man. All he sees is read and his brows tremble with how mad he is getting. He doesn’t even sugar coat the idea that he is jealous. “Yeah, so what y/n? I don’t give a crap if you think this is funny. That guy better keeps his hands to himself if he knows whats good for him.” From then on in public he is all about that dominating PDA folks. He will kiss you so hot and heavy in front of all the guys to show that you are taken and they better not mess with you or him. He’ll always have his hands on you and this lustful gleam in his eyes.

Clark: 

Hugs. Tight, gentle, tender, warm hugs. He might be the Man of Steel, but he’s so gentle and loving. Clark adores having you in his arms, gently engulfing you and keeping you close to him. Just feeling your frame resting against his chest and knowing you’re safe and okay and there with him is perfect for Clark.

Peter: 

Kisses, kisses everywhere. You can’t keep this boy off you because he’s always hugging you or goofying around or tickling you. However, leaving small kisses all over you is his favorite thing and what makes you feel loved the most. Small pecks on the hair, the hand, the forehead, the temple, the cheek, the neck and of course the lips. Pete just bathes you in kisses all the time, he just loves you so much.

Diana: 

Loving glances. Apart from the cuddling and hand holding there’s also lots of smiles and other loving gestures, but those are mainly casual and ordinary by this point. When you especially feel how much Diana loves you is by that loving glance of adoration she gives you sometimes and that makes you feel so special and cared for. They are so filled with fondness and sweetness that they make you melt every time.

Wade: 

This man has a strange way of showing affection. Not to say that he doesn’t hug you or kiss you like a normal partner would. But Wade isn’t exactly a regular guy, he’s quite unique. His favorite way of showing his affection is by giving you the most bizarre gifts ever that he knows you will somehow enjoy. Because who else would surprise you on your birthday with a random Wham! vinyl record other than the loving weirdo that is your boyfriend. It doesn’t even have to be a special day, he gives you these strange gifts the most random days so you never expect them too.

Bruce: 

He’s extremely honest with you. Bruce is a secretive man who keeps most of his feelings and thoughts to himself, but he actually has no secrets for you. It’s his way of showing how important you are to him and how much he cares. He told you about Batman and about all the things going on in his life. Even if, of course, there’s no lack of physical affection nonetheless.

Tony: 

At first you actually thought it was a showcase of how arrogant and wealthy he is, but Tony loves spoiling you and showing his classy side. Taking you to fancy restaurants and having expensive meals, buying you all kinds of over the top presents, giving you cool tech, he even invents stuff for you! Whatever it is, Tony loves giving you the best things he possibly can even if you’re content with just staying in watching a movie with him, cuddling in the sofa on your pijamas. However, you know all the expensives things he does for you is his way of showing his love.

They dare separate you from him all because they couldn’t take two siblings together in a class? BLASPHEMY! Damian scoffed as he crossed his arms in his art class, you were currently in your English class. He was your brother, your other half, his other half. Of course he should know where your classes were. When you two were with the league of assassins, it was very important for the both of you to give out your specific locations. It was normal between you two mostly.

He wound enjoy his art class more if you were here yapping his ear off about the most latest cartoon show you loved. His sibling who should be by him at all times no matter what. His sibling who should not only be here, but be here in his class.

Raising his hand, he wanted to stop this madness. “I will like to go to the principals office.”

Meanwhile with you, you were relaxing in your English class. Reading a book you loved! It was certainly amazing as its name was (favorite book). How could you never seen this before?! It was amazing to you. Maybe when you go back home with Damian, you can go to the library and check out and see books with Jason. If he was even home. A knock on your classroom door got the attention of your teacher and classmates. Even you included as the principal walked in.

You looked at the principal confused while the adult looked scared and nervous. “I am here to bring Y/N Wayne to their new class…” the adult said wearily as you grabbed your stuff and walked to the adult. The principal quickly ushered you out of the hall, making you go to the room of where your beloved brother was at. Entering it, you seen your brother staring at you with a raised brow. Acting as if he hadn’t threaten the school’s reputation for his brother’s presence.

And now you come to the end of the problem with you now sitting in class with Damian who smirked. You both were paying attention and drawing whatever was on the board. The two twins peacefully draw, moving in sync as if they were robots. But they weren’t .

BATBOYS WITH THIS DYNAMIC WITH READER:

BRUCE: if your eyes are naturally dark brown to the point it looks black, he may be curious and just flash a light in your eyes to see the brown hue which is amusing. But if your eyes are actually black, I feel like he wouldn’t overthink about it much other than you can get a little creepy when staring.

DICK: stares back at you with intent in his eyes to make you blink. He thinks it’s a staring contest…please tell him it’s not before his eyes burn.

JASON: says you’re a demon to scare people away from him in public. It works on some, and it doesn’t on some. But either way he likes how you can stare at someone til they get very uncomfortable. It makes him laugh when he brings you to galas.

TIM: same as his adopted father, he’s pointing a flashlight into your beady black or dark brown eyes of a void. Have to make sure if you’re human or not…but either way he loves your eyes as it reminds him of the type of coffee he takes. He might as well just drink your eyes up/j….

He had a dream he had drunk your eyes up…

DAMIAN: stares back just as evil as he is. But for real, he probably wouldn’t care as you have voids for eyes. That just lets him know that when you get mind control and the control shows what eye colors you have instead of your natural ones. He can just save you instantly. He’s got his father’s paranoia anyways.
