De-cluttering the brain.

Just found out there’s new Alex rider books???? I genuinely think I might’ve been cursed to never be able to finish a book series easily. First it was Percy Jackson and then it turns out there's like 5 more series in the same universe. Then it was Skulduggery Pleasant and there was more books - one of which hasn’t been written yet - and now Alex rider?!

Project 406: Day 6 (Items 16 - 21)

All these items came out of my reading room closet and I honestly have no love or joy for any of them. The perfume was a gift and a scent I do not enjoy, the blush has glitter in it and while glitter is awesome my metal head self does not sparkle, the eyeliner and lip gloss I replaced a long time ago with vegan cruelty free products that are now staples of my morning routine. The tweezers, alas they were bent some how and no longer tweeze.

The make up case (I have two more I like better) and make up were posted on free cycle and immediately requested. I’ll be doing a drop off later this week, and the tweezers were recycled.

// So I'm gonna mention two of my favorite hobbies which are --keeping things that (for me) have sentimental values & de-cluttering. Yup. Quite contradicting. This one moment I sorted through my stuff, I saw a familiar piece of paper I haven't remembered or seen for a long time. That piece of paper is where this poem's written.

// I have this friend in college who I really got along with. Unfortunately, he transferred school which is quite far from my univ. He borrowed some of my books (if I am not mistaken the books are The Alchemist & The Time Keeper or Tuesdays With Morrie??) (Okay I'm not sure but yeah) and then he transferred school even before he can return the books. One day, one of my classmates gave me a paper bag which I had no idea whom or where it came from. She told me it was a secret.

// As I opened it, I saw my books & knew right then who it came from. There were additional things inside like the book To Kill A Mockingbird, a sachet of Great Taste White Coffee & a piece of paper. I smiled as I realized how thoughtful this one friend of mine is.

// It has really been a long time since I saw him & had a long conversation with him.

// It just made me glad I've served as a good company to someone once in my life.
