!!! Gob/ Sid (fo3 OC) /Charon and 35, kissing and touching each other's bruises and scars?

(Sorry for the wait, this one ended up getting away from me lmao Thanks so much for the prompt though!!!) Scars weren’t so easy to spot on most ghouls. What was left of Gob’s skin was a mosaic of blossoming yellows, blues, and greens. It was soft under Sidney’s touch, so soft she worried she’d bruise him. And then, somewhere at the base of his ribs, it wasn’t. A rough, white patch, barely the width of a thumb-print. She thought for a moment that it was an exposed bone, but the texture wasn’t right. Mattress springs groaned as she sat upright in bed. Gob stayed sprawled on his side, his foggy eyes glued to the pages of the latest Wasteland Survival Guide. “Hey, what’s this?” asked Sid. “Hurt yourself?”

Charon, who sat hunched over a makeshift workbench, tilted his head. He sat with his back to the pair, but Sid could see the red gashes of his ears turning toward them. Gob only gave a distracted little hum in response. He dog-eared his page, and then his rotted hand reached back. His fingers found her wide, tanned forearm, followed gingerly down to where her hand lay against his skin. He sucked in a sharp breath. “Nothing,” he said, too quickly. Sid traced the mark. The skin across it had discolored, but she could still feel the scar tissue. A fine, thin slice that curved upwards across his ribcage. She felt him tense, and asked, very quietly: “Moriarty?” He shoved her hand away. “Knock it off, will ya?” Charon turned toward them, his shoulders squared back. Gob didn’t look at him. He pushed himself up from the mattress with a grunt, reached for the t-shirt that lay crumpled on their bedroom floor. Charon’s hard, glassy stare found Sid. She could almost taste the boot she’d stuffed into her own mouth. “Ah, shit,” she blurted, “Gob I’m sorry.” “It’s fine,” he said. It didn’t sound fine at all. He swung his legs over the side of the bed, pulled on his t-shirt. He kept his back to her. She cast a helpless glance toward Charon, who only stared. His broad face unreadable as always, but she knew he wasn’t gonna bail her out. She didn’t fault him for that. Sid threw up her hands, and made herself smile. “Hey, who cares? It’s the apocalypse - who doesn’t have a scar or two. Or seven. Look!” She shuffled awkwardly across the mattress, so that she was at Gob’s side again. Their rusted bed frame squealed and creaked with every movement. Sid squinted at both of her palms, raking her memory for a time, and then she found it. It was only a speck now, faded between the middle and ring finger of her right hand. She pointed to it excitedly. “.44-Calibur Catch!” She declared. To her relief, Gob spared it a glance. Charon scooted in his chair, craned over to see. “What catch?” Asked Gob. From the way his features twisted, she knew he’d be raising an eyebrow at her, if he’d had an eyebrow to raise. “It was this game we played, back in Lamplight. One kid had a revolver, and one kid had this baseball glove we made out of ballistic fiber.” Gob didn’t say anything for a long while. Unsurprisingly, neither did Charon. “I dunno if I won or lost.” Sid admitted finally. “We only played it once. Turns out ballistic fiber only gets you so far.” Gob stifled a snort behind his hand. Through the gaps between his fingers, she could see the way his lips pulled in a smile.

I liked Travis before Confidence Man. Dude’s voice may have gotten ‘smooth and deeper’ but he kinda sounds like a Chad...

26. Which settlement would you want to live in/make your home base?

Oh, lord I can’t remember sdafsdf It’s been so long since I’ve looked at my own save file HAHA What did I build? No idea.

I vaguely remember making a bunch of cool stuff in Sunshine Tidings Co-Op, so possibly there. I doubt my lil library still exists, but it was small and cute and I just want to be surrounded by books XD

Perception: -4 without glasses, 6 with them

Intelligence: 9 I am a nerd, what can I say?

Agility: 3...my usual walking speed is fast but I cannot run. Asthma makes me winded very easily

Luck: 7 I have decent luck. Definitely have been a few times where I got veeeery lucky...

hey i am sorry you're not feeling well today. i have three cats and they are small, medium, and large so i've really got it all in life. the biggest boy is extremely fluffy, has a head the size of a grapefruit, is built like a linebacker, AND has the tiniest meow. he likes to sleep on his back and his favorite blanket is one that has a fallout print design on it :0

🌷 — taking care of living things

Pretty decent at it, all things considered. Definitely better at taking care of living things that aren’t herself, at least. things like specialized high maintenance plants are a bit beyond her, but the average garden, she's decent enough at. Better with animals - plants can sometimes slip her notice for a few days.

⌛️ — time management

She's good at being on time to things, as a result of overcompensating for her inherently awful time skills. She'll show up a half hour early to anything scheduled - and probably accomplish nothing else in the rest of the day leading up to whatever. She's rubbish at schedules - making them, keeping to them, judging how long anything might take. Codsworth saved her butt a lot, pre-war
