Mad as Fuck

So, I bought a new desktop computer (my laptop is getting old and gross - it’s like 5 or 6 years old? It survived going through a thunderstorm and getting drenched [avoid Prague summer storms], but it has been on a decline and just cannot handle sims or minecraft anymore). I picked the new desktop up on Tuesday, and now 5 days later in the middle of a game it died. Shut down. Won’t turn on. At first I thought we were having a power outage, but no, my monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard which were plugged into the same power bar were very much still on. My damn computer just died. Maybe it’s the power supply, maybe it is something else. But I am pipping hot mad and recommend that people do not buy cyberpower pc from The Source. Complete shit if it dies in 5 days. No lights, no sound, just dead. There was also no sign of distress -- no sound of a distressed fan whirring around, no sign of overheating (the damn thing felt barely warm), nothing. Just black out, then dead.

My PC has DIED!!

After a couple of blackouts, I found my pc would not turn on. It seems to be dead. I need to raise money to repair or, more likely, replace it. For this, I offer commissions.

So as some of you might have noticed, I havent been posting anything lately. That have been mosty cuz I haven´t had a PC for about 2 weeks. It went poof on me a while back and stopped working for me out fo the blue. I have done some testings on it at a friends place and we came to the conclusion that it is either the motheboard that is giving up and possibly the power supply. I am waiting for a…

So the Papa-Unit had a look at my PC today. Told him of the sparks and the burning smell. There's no sign of any burns though. And the fact that my PC sparked still freaks me out a little. Anyways, he thinks it's the power unit that's died. So I've bought a knew one for £80ish that should arrive on Friday. Of course as the Papa-Unit reminded me it is Friday 13th. *shrugs* I have no worries it's always been lucky for me. 'Sides I'll blame him if it goes a stray and ends on the moon.

In memoriam my PC. It was a good computer. It succumbed to old age and went into Blue Death this Wednesday.

One of my older Fujitsu Siemens desktops has just died. It's about 4 years old now so just out of warranty. Fans spin up but nothing else, doesn't reach Post, doesn't do anything. Tried everything I can think of to breath life back into it. I think it's the Board that's died.

Looks like I'll be ordering a new one.
