spoilers for supernatural season 6 episode 7!!!
genuinely why tf does sam forgive dean for killing amy. like i understand that yeah he wouldve killed amy if he hadnt of known her but i fear that wasnt the case like it was nuanced. dean shouldnt have killed amy without talking with sam about it ALSO amy was important to sam literally his first kiss and killed her mum for him. it pisses me off that dean didnt even really apologise and then sam FREAKING APOLOGISES???? WHY IS HE APOLOGISING??? dean shouldve been the one to apologise but he just tells sam to stop being a bitch....i will kill him i hate dean so much.
being a sastiel shipper when the supernatural fandom is fighting about destiel vs wincest
The Offensive Humanization of Castiel
A profound bond?
I miss the early days of Castiel when Castiel would treat Dean like the lower life form he really is.
Personally I found it much more respectful when Castiel was referred to in fearful whispers as an “it.” It is an entity that happened to occupy a human man. If I were brave enough, I would probably use “it” IRL.
Its true form is something Dean has never seen. Its true voice is something Dean has never heard. In other words Dean has only ever met Castiel’s masked self.
Dean has never seen Castiel as anything other than a human man with superpowers he can exploit. This made me uncomfortable as an autistic person with what I call internalized capitalism/ableism.
Dean has never shown any interest in learning about angels: Castiel’s family, Enochian, angel politics, angel culture.
The few times Dean is forced to confront the notion of Castiel as not human, he fails spectacularly and responds with bigotry and prejudice.
I found the time when Dean tried to get Castiel to sleep with someone to be deeply uncomfortable as a sex-repulsed asexual. It seemed more like corrective rape than a nice bonding experience.
I found the notion that Castiel needed Dean to fix it personality wise offensive as an autistic person.
Castiel has never referred to itself as “Cas,” but has voluntarily used Clarence as an alias.
It is canon that gender does not matter to “Meg.” Perhaps name does not either.
Megstiel, therefore is not a straight pairing.
Cas only gave Dean that dumbass speech before the Empty for Sam and Jack's safety. He knew Dean's massive ego would go ballistic and he would start hitting people if he didn't have some sort of validation. Since the two people he loved most were the only ones left on earth for Dean to hit, he made the sacrifice of woobifying and placating Dean's shitty behavior.
Nice headcanon, while kind of far fetched I can see how it would make sense. In reality it was the writers giving the fans a shitty 2 moments of Destiel which is arguably worse than them not going through with it at all. Personally I believe Castiel genuinely believed what he said in those moments of death, regardless if it was true or not. It's honestly hard to put a meaning to, considering how garbage the quality of the show was towards the end. So I'd say to perceive it however you want, considering they have us practically nothing good to work with.
Look I’m gonna take a page out of my own book. FUCK dean for locking up sam fuck dean for not even trying to understand him and fuck him for not being able to see past the end of his own fucking nose to see the good sam was doing.
The way I hate Dean in dark side of the moon :/
I've been re-watching the first seasons of Supernatural, and... Holy Chuck, I hate Dean Winchester so much. I can't stand him and the way he treats Sam, Castiel, and Jack. Why do people even think he's bi? He makes homophobic jokes pretty regularly and objectified the hell out of women.
I know how important Dean is to Sam. I know neither could ever exist without the other. I also recognize that Dean was raised to be this way and is also a victim of abuse. But I'll be damned if I can't be pissed at Dean for continuing the cycle of abuse.
