DEATH RX 💀 | The first law of thermodynamics is “energy cannot be created or destroyed, only altered”. The Death card is the Tarot’s embodiment of the constant cycling of energy throughout our existence. When reversed, it warns that there are energies at play working to put a stop or block the shifts that need to occur for life to keep going (usually a subconscious fear; not being able to handle the changes coming our way). Death Rx in our readings is an indicator that we are fighting against the tides of the inevitable, and that we need to allow ourselves to be submerged by the waves of uncertainty. Scorpio tends to find comfort in the void or in where others are uncomfortable/offended, and when Death Rx shows up, we are being asked to get comfortable where there is no form of security to be found. Death, while not always a bad card, tends to represent the end of something. This can mean your relationship is coming to an end. To avoid this, speak with your partner, see what they need/want, express what you need/want, and work together to achieve those things. If you let things sit it won’t get better. Brief break. Got out earlier than I thought so let's reflect. Yesterday at SEP high. Good day. Off at 2:15 and straight to the south side to pick up various supplies, with a quick stop st the mall ARL to meet Tanuki, who brightened my whole day. Home, to find that when roommate Brad moved out he CLEANED and that made me SO EFFING HAPPY that I mowed the lawn, and weedwacked, and fell, and cut up some poison ivy -- so I'm eagerly awaiting the results of that. :-/ I was feeling myself yesterday. Dark photo but I'm all in black anyway. Dani came over and I needed a break, so I talked her into tennis down at Columbus Park. Home again, and enjoyed dinner paninis. Drug a few more minutes of work out of myself and then drug myself to bed. 16 hour work day. Today was a fine arts day at Western Hills Elementary, and I have sudden pangs about missing teaching. Someone asked if I teach anywhere and I'm like, well, almost at the Art. Center this summer but I took a different job instead! Will have to add teaching back in around the edges of my life. Good workshop today tho. Kids had fun and I don't feel totally drained. Prep for a market tomorrow. A little Market Day work. Finish my piano. Let's go 🙌🏻
