Headshot Colonel (feat. Varang)
Father and Son: Miles Quaritch & Miles “Spider” Socorro (part II)
Though Spider carries the burden of shame amongst his Na'vi friends—that he is the son of their presumably deceased mortal enemy— he secretly longs to know more about his father. His longing for family, for a father, for an identity that is acknowledged by some community somewhere, leads him into treacherous waters when this strange version of his father enters his life. Is this his father? His enemy? Or something that is at once both or neither?

Father and Son: Miles Quaritch & Miles “Spider” Socorro (part I)
But his feelings for Spider are both new and real, and seem to give him purpose. In his borrowed memories, he remembers Spider as a baby and how he felt then as a father. How it was shifting all his priorities. Now those feelings are back, and shifting his priorities again.

Krennic edit with the Headshot .223 trend! Pretty happy with how this came out!

Hot Take because I have seen some stuff circulating:
I think human Quaritch loved Spider as much as his recom self did. Instead of the semi-popular idea that only Recom Quaritch cared so much for him while his human self wouldn't have given a fck abt the kid.
Recom Quaritch has ALWAYS, even before any character arc, shown hints towards the love for his son. The way he immideatly recognized him and asked "Miles?" in the forest, despite Spider having been a tiny infant when he last saw him. The way he got him out of the neuroscanner. The way he praised Spider's loyalt with a weird sense of pride in him right after--- those are all Recom Quaritch before any kind of arc. When all he got and works off of are the memories of his human version.
And no, I don't think this behaviour comes from him being Na'vi. Na'vi aren't inherently better or more social as humans, the fact that he's in an alien body wouldn't suddenly make Quaritch love and care for someone he wouldn't have as a human. That has got some really weird implications aswell as making no sense.
Quaritch simply loved Spider and that was it. He is a horrible, cruel, awful, evil, despicable, truly atrocious human being. But he loves his child and that is a fact. He's the best example of "Even Beasts Love Their Young" and that's what makes him so interesting. I have no idea why the fandom wants to ignore that aspect of him tbh.
Recom Quaritch woke up loving Spider and that is a fact, just how Human Quaritch died loving him.
Different paths, same story.
