Like other deathclaws that adapt to a more auditory method of hunting over vision or smell, unusual disk-like shapes in the skeletal system aid in directing the tiniest of noises. Typically a much darker tone, this one's partial albinism gives it a very striking appearance.

A unique deathclaw that stores water in immense fat deposits.

NB: We never found our field researcher who discovered this particular specimen, but a cryptic bloodstained note in his handwriting was found in its den. None of us know what 'it fuckin pineapple' means.

One from the old list, Blacklight!

Discovered when a trail of light-reactive fluid was followed. Otherwise pitch-black, its body houses colonies of an irradiated bacterium that emits an ultraviolet glow. Its severed hand appears healed, but it never stops oozing bioluminescence.

Compared to a brahmin, a well trained pack-deathclaw is worth its weight in caps, as they often only need to eat once a week. Caravaneers often proudly display little tokens on their valuable beasts of burden - those who wander off can be easily identified.

Deathclaws with defensive mutations tend to be a little more passive than their active hunting cousins - but far more dangerous to tangle with. Usually content to drift in water, it can deliver a potent neurotoxin via tiny, fragile barbs with one slap of its tail.
