New surprise dress looks like a butterfly
For years, I have played in football teams where I've not been liked or even acknowledged most of the time and I come back from uni to my beloved team where I did belong but now suddenly I don't.
They all looked great but Uhm Jung Hwa tho...
She is 51 y'all. 51!!!!
okay so, i'm so happy for chen and totally support him, his fiancé and his future child, but i am totally aghast over how this is reported. debut of a baby? what? it's a birth, not a debut, his child will not be starting his career but his life and should not be regarded as a public figure simply for the fact their father is famous.
please, be thankful to chen for sharing this much with us and don't invade his family's private life.
Kindness
“We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all the power we need inside ourselves already” (J.K. Rowling). But what is this power that we humans are said to possess, strong enough to change the world? Surely, the physical strength of one individual cannot make much difference in a world of seven billion people. The influence of one brain, though, has the capacity to change the lives of millions, but the affect that a brilliant idea or an outstanding mind can have on the world can either be good or bad. Then what is it that we have that guarantees to bring out a change that would make the world a better place? It is but the power of our heart, of kindness, of modesty, of liberality, of helpfulness and, above all, of love. Every human being inherently possesses these qualities, but we are too blinded by materialistic pursuits to find it in ourselves to create a better world, because “It is our choices that make us who we really are, far greater than our abilities” (Albus Dumbledore).
Kindness is twice consecrated. It blesses the one who gives it and the one who receives it. Being kind to the people around us does not mean we need to move out of the everyday business of life to make grand gestures and enormous contributions. That is where the beauty of kindness lies in, in the simplicity of it. A small act of sharing our food with a hungry person or holding the door for a stranger, or even planting and looking after a few trees is an act of compassion. “Even small acts of kindness can make a profound difference to somebody else” (Misha Collins), because somewhere down the line, someone benefits from a tiny deed of ours. Another quality of kindness is that it costs nothing. In today’s epoch of economically driven people, kindness is one of the few things that spread joy free of charge. We ought to do what we do because it’s right. Because it’s decent, and most of all, kind.
Giving away clothes to the homeless, looking after a sick and lonely neighbour, teaching the not-so-fortunate children or assisting in cleaning a public place are all worldly acts of kindness. But do we stop there? No, because kindness also has the ability to aid an ailing soul. “Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones, because regret is stronger than gratitude” (Anne Frank). Kindness is something to be bestowed upon the breathing and, primarily, those who live without love, because medicines can cure a broken body but it is the people around a wrecked soul that can help it heal. Lending an ear to someone who is heartbroken and needs to let it all out, expressing gratefulness to someone whose job somehow makes your life easier, holding a friend when they cry or simply providing peaceful silence to a mourning stranger could deeply change the hearts of the recipients of our kindness. We do not do this to achieve affection or appraisal; we simply do it in the hope that one day these people will repay our kindness to someone else in need, because whoever is happy will make others happy. Kindness is needed, one to another. We do not know other people’s struggles, the brave faces they are putting on despite their problems, the mountains they are climbing, against the odds. Every time we cause hurt, especially by means of our brilliant ability to communicate in harsh words, it gets passed on to others as a chain of pain. “We must all face the choice of what is right and what is easy” (Albus Dumbledore). Being kind does not make us weak. “One should never mistake kindness for weakness, for it is in the moments that we apply kindness that our strength is revealed” (The Doctor).
The question now arises, is it only our fellow humans we need to be kind to? What about all the other living creatures of this planet? The million species of animals and plants? Well, we simply do not end it with humans. Our activities of the past as well as the present have spoilt the natural world to such a degree that it will not be incorrect to say that the Earth is dying. In times like these, it is not only necessary to be kind to the people around us, but also to the flora and the fauna. “We do not own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife” (Steve Irwin). Being kind to humans can be a choice, but to the environment it is no less than a responsibility, because that is what keeps our existence going. Ensuring the well being of all animals, birds and fishes, bringing back the forest cover and, in short, conserving the nature is a duty, but a type of benevolence nonetheless, because it is only the pure of heart that understand the plight of those who cannot speak for themselves.
Before all is done, before we have been through with everything in our power to improve the world around us, we need to look to ourselves. We need to be kind to ourselves first, so that we could be happy enough to be kind to the world. Kindness comes from within a content and calm soul. It springs up from a heart that is at peace. What is the need to scorn or degrade our own self for what others state? What is the point of doubting our abilities, when we only either win, or learn? How will we spread hope like wildfire when we let the flame inside us flicker and die? “What you have to offer to the world is yourself, so do not lose it. Focus on it and try to bring it out” (Jared Padalecki). We are all humans doing our best. No one is better than anybody else. We are just here. We all have our struggles and our strengths. So do not be harsh to yourself, because happiness is contagious, it spreads rapidly.
But despite everything, one individual can only do so much on their own. It would take them a thousand years alone to change the world through their kindness. What do we do, then? The answer is building a kinder community, a more generous society for all to live in. Anyone born on this planet should strive to leave the world a better place than the one they found it as. “I found it is the small deeds everyday of ordinary folks that keep the darkness at bay… Small acts of love and kindness” (J.R.R. Tolkien). The most efficacious way of making a difference is by example, and doing random acts of kindness is a very good example of how to behave in the world. Kindness and generosity are infectious qualities that when you carry them out, you often inspire others to do the same and that one act can actually have an exponential affect. “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world” (Anne Frank). The strongest power we humans hold is faith, it is said to have the power to move mountains. A little faith in kindness is all we need to build a better world. In the long run, the sharpest weapon of all is a kind and gentle spirit.
In conclusion, I would like to propose a question to my reader: Why is that kindness is not believed to be a part of being human? Like having flesh and bone? Something that comes to us involuntarily?
We are all stories in the end; let’s just make it a good one.

[[someone asked if there was an offbrand Chibita. And yes. Yes there is.]] @felixyass Kaede: We don’t really know any Chibitas… but there’s this guy who runs a sushi stand that we always visit. He only looks like he’s 15 and it already looks like all the joy in life has left him
