Timmy in NYC!!! 🗽
He visited the Empire State Building together with the whole cast. Attended two screenings for "Marty Supreme" and went out on a dinner with his friends!! Good times in NY!💜

Dec 15 - More baking today! Tackled the pfeffernuesse this evening. It's much more complicated than the shortbread yesterday, but I was able to do it in stages; made the dough, then gamed a bit while the dough rested. Shaped and baked the cookies, then gamed some more while they cooled. Made the icing, and iced the cookies. They're now air drying on racks while the icing hardens, and at some point before going to bed I need to put them into an air tight container and wash all the dishes. Meanwhile I am going to, you guessed it, game some more.
Yes, this is the recipe I attached to that B. Dylan Hollis video of him making some by a different recipe.
For supper I'd started to make a tomato sauce based around sliced hot Italian sausages, onions, and sweet peppers, then realized once those were sauteed that we didn't have any canned tomatoes on hand. Whoops! Did have some fresh tomato, but not enough to make it into a sauce, though it bulked it out a little more quite nicely. Instead of having it with pasta, I served it as a topping for some perogies.
