Tomorrow is decision day for everyone going into college, and you’re supposed to wear something for the school you chose, and I am SO tempted to wear my D.A.M.N hoodie. So tempted.

i recently uploaded a new video on a topic outside of the edm world, but one i am frequently asked about on here + my social media.

i talk all things attending NYU- stereotypes, parties, living in nyc, affording nyc, and more. as a current senior, i hope i can offer the best possible insight.

most of the questions are geared towards NYU specifically, but many of them are applicable to going to school in the city in general. so, if you are looking into attending nyu or another new york city school-- this is the video for you! hope you find it helpful. my inbox is also always open to more questions that were not addressed.

Day 57 of 100 (5/1/19): Today was decision day for college. I did a lil thingy for my school. I’ve actually been decided for like 5 months (give or take), but it was still cool. Then I studied for my AP psych exam. I used the review packet my teacher gave me and highlighted stuff I know in green, stuff I recognized in yellow, and stuff I didn’t know in red(ish orange). I’m gonna use that to make my own study guide thing.

ok LISTEN UP it’s that time of year. you know what time im talking about. everyone has decided what colleges they’re going to and people are walking around at school wearing college shirts and posting their decisions on instagram but let me tell you a thing: DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU’RE GOING TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!! even if everyone else you know is going to university, going to community college doesn’t make you stupid or less valid!!!!! I, for one, have been salty as fuck for the past month that I’m going to community college but you know what? i’m done being depressed because today i told myself to fuck it cause it doesn’t matter. people go to community college for different reasons - some people need to stay local, some people just want to be a little more chill, some people just don’t want/need to go to university for what they want to do with their lives! and also, UNIVERSITY IS HELLA FUCKING EXPENSIVE!! i personally am not going to university because i don’t want to be in debt and paying back more than my yearly salary until I die binch!!! but the point is, going to community college doesn’t say S H I T about who you are as a person, how smart you are, etc. (not that you can’t be proud of yourself if you’re going to a university because if you are, congratulations!!) but going to college at all, or even not going and just getting a job straightaway is an accomplishment and I am proud of you! don’t let anyone tell you that not going to university makes you a failure. also, if you’re one of those people that says that, then fuck you lol!!! anyway thank you for coming to my Ted Talk good night
