HIS SPARKLY WIDESET EYES AND SILLY JOLLY GRIN HAVE ENCHANTED ME ;; like tfym “oorah” stfu he’s so fucking cute
LIKE HE’S SO UGLY AND STUPID LOOKING I LOVE HIM ;;;; LIEUTENANT WAINFLEET I’M GONNA KISS YOUR SHINY BALD HEAD ARGH (ik he has the faintest shortest buzz sometimes but that’s irrelevant i like his head shiny and polished bro)
if i rub his head like a crystal ball do u think it would tell me the future?
I think if the Colonel is sentimental enough to name his ikran "Cupcake"(omg, I really hope that's actually true 😭), then when it comes to bonding with his son Spider, he could've put his resourcefulness to use and gotten him some... Spider-Man socks. If they'd had more time, Quaritch definitely would've found a way to connect with his son — and I thought the idea of doing it through cool socks was kinda funny. After all, even teenagers who grew up in the jungle like cool socks, right?
Sorry if this isn’t the best this is a long one and I tried a new writing style
Self aware au part 3.5
Tw:yandere, occ, infantilization, both romantic and platonic yanderes, kidnapping,I use the word gentle a lot,, others I forgot ,written on a phone,, reacted use of the word gentle, my mediocre writing other things I forgot to put
It’s like they disappeared it seemed to have gone back to normal. No straying glances, no lines that were out of place. No longer did you feel like you were being watched. You thought they finally relented, finally stopped but oh how foolish you were.
They didn’t give up they were learning. Trying to know everything they needed for when they finally have you in their arms.
Neytiri weaves your cloths and and has Jake help make you a song cord.
Jake gets you bows and arrows and other Navi weapons to match your size so he can teach you how to use them
While the children help their parents gather supplies like masks and oxygen while Making a room specifically for you. Making sure everything is the right for you
Then all that’s left is to fine a way to bring you there, to bring you home.
Flash back:
Norm had spent months from the moment he first saw you through the screen researching and Learning about your home world but he spent even longer trying to find a way to bring you to them.
But after failing time and time again he finally figured it out. A machine that could make a riff between your word and theirs. It wasn’t perfect but it worked and that was all that mattered.
He could almost feel you in his arms looking up at him as he taught all he knew. Oh how excited he was that they could finally have you.
End of flash back
It took so long for them to decide who would walk through the rift to bring you home. At times it almost broke out into full blown war between them but in the end it was decided that it would neytiri and Jake would be the ones to retrieve you.
“Remember you have to be quick. We don’t know how long the rift will last.”
“We can’t let anything harm her. And this will be our only chance”
Norm’s voice carries determination but still held fear.
The machine was turned on and the rift opened they waited only a few seconds before making their way inside.
It was so strange to them everything was so small compared to them and completely different from pandora even compared to the earth from their world.
They could see trees and blue sky’s from the window. Technology so outdated and borderline ancient.
But then they noticed one thing. You weren’t there at least not in the room. The house was draped in quite apart from the sound of air conditioning gently blowing.
That was till a soft sound came from another room and There the found you sleeping gently rapt in the blanket. Your face seemed so soft and peaceful.
They walked closer to your sleeping form. Admiring every detail of your face. The gentle curves, your lips, your hair every detail they could see.
Before Jake could stop himself he lifted his hand you cup your cheek something he wished to do for so long. Finally feeling your skin against his was a feeling he couldn’t describe like a man finally touching an angel.
But that was when your eyes opened. You sat up startled clutching the blanket close to trying to understand what was happening. You had to be dreaming right? This was just an Extremely realistic dream, it had to be that’s the only way.
That was till neytiri grabbed you and gently pulled you towards them like a mother would pull a child. This touch felt to real to be just a dream.
You tried to scream but all she did was cover your mouth with her hand and shush you. She pulled you against you chest and rapt her arms around your body enveloping you in her warmth. Her head pressed the top of your head and toop a breath in. Trying Memorizing your sent.
Before you could fight to brake free. A sharp pain shot through you.
“ for give me ma love. It’s for your own good”
You turn your head to see Jake pull back a syringe just before the everything went black.
Jake and neytiri walked back through the portal with you cradled in her arms. Holding you like you were the world it self and to them you were you were their whole world.
As the machine shuts off norm gently takes you from neytiri who only let go because she was told that you needed to be looked after by the scientist for a couple of days to make sure the drug wears off and that your body adjust to their universe without any complications.
Only designed personnel are allowed to enter. Mainly to bring you food, clothes, and to make sure you’re healthy. But even then they can’t be in there longer than 20 minutes.
But the others could still visit you and of course everyone did. Bring you gifts of cloths, blankets, shells and other random things they think you would like.
Your cried begging to go home. To be taken home. It hurt their hearts to see the tears run down your cheeks.
But all they did was kneel in front of the glass and whisper to try and comfort you with words, songs, or stories but it all just made it worse. It felt they saw you as a child unable to take care of themselves and unable to tell what’s good for them. And that just made it feel so much worse.
Time skip
Four days. Four days you were trapped in that glass box. Like an animal on display for them to gawk at.
You weren’t supposed to be here…
They shouldn’t exists, they were just characters in a movie. They weren’t supposed to be real. Just blue aliens but how… how did they know you existed? How did you get here. Every part of you wanted to go home back to your family, friends, your world were everything made sense. Even if it wasn’t grate some days there were still people who cared about you. They must be worried sick.
But you didn’t have long to continue thinking about the life you once had before you heard the sound of air releasing and the glass walls coming up.
And there they stood the Navi’s the same sick obsession in their eyes. It seemed they couldn’t believe they had you with them.
It was quite for a moment before a tall somewhat awkward avatar stepped forward kneeling beside you like he had done before during exams. Norm you heard others call him.
He looked at the others and gestured for them to come forward. One but one them moved to sit or kneel around you looking at you like you were a god. A dark blue woman cupped your face in her hand like you would break if the wind blew too hard.
“Ma (y/n)”
Her voice was filled with pure love one that could not be faked. She pulled you close to her body before turning to face the others you nestled in her lap like a precious pet.
A man you recognized from days ago came from behind the women and placed a kiss to the top of your head like you could disappear at any moment
“Do not be rude, introduce yourselves”
The man spoke with confidence and power. And one by one they did you learns the names of them
They said you still had many for to meet but that would happen at a later time. Neytiri handed you clothes and took you somewhere so you could change. She helped you put the outfit on but her hands lingered. Weather that be at your hips or chest her hands lingered on your body. Your back pressed against her legs as she looked down a small peck placed on the top of your head yet again.
You were brought back to the room from before as you to enter you finds the others in a deep discussion but after a few seconds the room falls silent except for the sound of breathing.
“We have talked about were you shall stay” the woman you have come to know as ronal finally spoke up
Her husband spoke next “you shall stay with them for a week then you shall stay with us and it will switch each week after that… do you understand?”
His voice was softer than his wife it held a gentleness that was hard to find but still had the courage and strength of a leader.
You nodded.
Their words help little room for argument.
Another time skip (like a day or so)
The sully family as you learned their name was. Were the first to have you stay with them. The boy named loak carried in his arms like a child with their teddy bear. Neteyam helped his father carry the oxygen canisters and kiri brought extra mask in case one broke.
Neytiri was one of the only few not carrying something instead she walked along side loak and told you stories about many things but mostly about their family. Like how here a Jake met. (That’s how you learned he too had been human once) along with the story of how he became toruk mokoto. But you noticed the slight grimace Jake gave to that story like it’s something he wanted to forget.
Laughter caught your ear and when you turned you head your met with the youngest of the family tuk as you’ve come to know her. She was very curious when it came to you asking almost a thousand questions, you answered as many as you could in the little time in between each question. She was one of the only ones that made you feel normal, she acted like a little sister excited to see her older sister friend it reminded you much of your own.
It only took a hour or so to arrive at their home. They found a place to lay the canisters and masks before returning to you. Neytiri took you into her arms from loak and took you to a room just of what looked to be a sleeping area compared to everything the things in the room looked like it was made for dolls and in a way it.
She kissed the top of your head before placing in the hammock that hangs in the middle of the room. The moment your body touched the fabric they gathered around it and for just a moment a silence fell over the room only the sound of water and near by animals could be heard. It was only broken by a whisper from neytiri
“Ours”
The family unanimously agreed. A mix of yes’s and nobs.
Jake left the room and the children followed leaving only you and neytiri. She lead against post the hammock was tied to and spoke so very gently.
“Little human, ma yawne, Eywa saw you before we did. She knew our hearts needed you.”
She strokes the side of your face like you’re made of glass waiting to shatter.
The warmth in the words are something you’ve never felt before you can feel the heat rising to your cheeks and ears. It seemed that the world shrinked to size of the room. Like it was just you two left in this world.
You tried to hide yourself behind your hands it was all to much. Not in the bad way it felt good to be loved so much but the feeling was becoming so strong.
Neytiri couldn’t help but laugh at the somewhat pitiful attempt to hide your embarrassment. She took your hands in hers and pulled them away from your face.
“Do not hide your face, ma tìyawn. I want to see you… and I want every small part of you.”
Her voice carried a laugh a pure laugh and eyes held love.you could get lost in them and you did just the two of you looking into the others eyes. Nether of you noticed the others coming back and it startled you when they did. Neytiri gave Jake a kiss before turning towards you again.
Jake was the first to speak this time.
“I see you settled in quite well. Did take long did it?”
He patted your thigh as he let out a chuckle. It somewhat scared you to see how big he was. It wasn’t just the size alone but the way he held himself. He was a worrier through and through.
“Come on time for you to eat! We got you things from the lab”
He grabbed your hand and pulled you along side him to larger room and sat you down on a pillow that was placed on the floor. As the children came in and one by one and sat along side you it wasn’t long before everyone was sitting and eating.
Now the food you were given wasn’t grate by any stretch of the imagination but I wasn’t the worst. That was till it started to taste strange. Something was lingering on your tongue it was slightly bitter but that’s when you finally noticed the family had at one point stopped eating and all eyes were on you.
The room suddenly began to spin and black dots started to form in your vision. You tried to stand and get away but by then it was already too late.
Jake caught you before you hit the ground. A smile on his face as he laid you in their bed and as they huddled around you. They just wanted you around them and now they finally had.
——————-————
This is getting to long so I’m braking this up into two hope that’s ok the next one is coming out in week have fun and I hoped you liked it!
So I’m writing for this big guy for the first time. Got a few stories lined up, if university doesn’t end me first. Send help. Enjoy, I guess.
Pairing: Lyle Wainfleet x fem!Mangkwan!reader
Summary: The Ash Lands are fierce, the clan is loyal only to themselves, and a bold warrior has set her sights on a blue‑skinned outsider.
The volcanic wind of the Ash Lands carried the scent of smoke and iron. The Mangkwan clan, the Ash People, stood waiting, their blue skin painted in streaks of ash gray and deep crimson, patterns like cracked lava across their bodies. Unlike the other Na’vi clans, they did not turn their eyes skyward in reverence and did not whisper Eywa’s name. Long ago, they had abandoned their bond with the Great Mother.
At the center stood Varang, the Tsahìk of the Mangkwan, tall, fierce. Beside her stood you.
You were impossible to ignore. Like the others, your skin was covered with ash and red war paint, but on you it looked almost ceremonial. Gray traced your cheekbones and shoulders like smoke, while thin crimson lines curved across your collarbone and down your arms. Your braids were decorated with small charred beads and pieces of black volcanic glass that caught the light. Many unmated warriors of the Mangkwan clan had tried to court you, but none had succeeded. Your sharp, curious gaze rarely stayed on anyone for long, until now.
Quaritch approached the Mangkwan camp on foot, flanked by a few RDA troops. In the center of the ash‑covered clearing stood Varang, the fierce leader of the Ash People, her eyes burning with the same fire that shaped their land. Quaritch lifted his chin slightly, showing neither fear nor deference.
“We could help each other,” Quaritch said, voice steady. “Your people are strong, but the clans who still follow Eywa think you’re weak.”
Varang’s gaze didn’t waver. “Your goddess has no dominion here,” she replied, her voice cold as volcanic stone. “We answer only to the fire and our own strength.”
Quaritch didn’t flinch. “I know what you want: power and a future for your people. I can give you weapons the clans have never seen.”
Varang studied him for a long moment before turning and disappearing into her kelku, Quaritch following without hesitation. Silence settled over the clearing, broken only by the low murmur of Mangkwan warriors watching the exchange.
While the two leaders spoke, the recoms stood back. That was when Lyle Wainfleet noticed you. At first it was just a glance, then another, and then he simply stared. “Well damn,” he muttered under his breath.
You stood with your arms crossed, relaxed yet confident, as the volcanic wind moved strands of your braids across your shoulders. Your golden eyes locked onto his, and you smiled, not a shy smile, but a dangerous one.
Lyle raised an eyebrow. “Oh yeah,” he murmured. “That one’s trouble.”
Next to him, Zdog leaned slightly closer. “She’s been staring at you since we landed.”
“Can’t blame her,” Lyle replied casually.
But the truth was, you had already decided something. You wanted him.
You stepped forward slowly and deliberately. The Mangkwan warriors noticed but said nothing; many of them had once hoped for your attention themselves. You walked directly toward the recoms, and they stopped in their tracks.
Your eyes were on Lyle.
Up close, he was massive even for a Na’vi, broad shoulders, strong military posture. He watched you approach with open curiosity. You stopped only a step away and tilted your head slightly, looking him up and down in a way that made several recoms grin.
So,” you said smoothly, your voice low, “human mind, Na’vi body… that’s an interesting combination.”
Lyle smirked. “You’ve got a good eye.
Your tail flicked slowly behind you. “I have never seen a warrior like you.”
Zdog snorted quietly behind him. “Oh she’s laying it on thick.”
Lyle ignored her. “And I’ve never seen a Na’vi look at me like she’s planning something.”
Your smile widened. “Maybe I am.”
The recoms exchanged amused looks. One of them muttered, “Wainfleet’s getting hunted.”
Lyle chuckled. “You always this forward?”
You leaned closer, lowering your voice. “Only when something interests me.”
His ears twitched slightly. “Oh yeah? And what exactly interests you?”
You lifted one hand and lightly touched the metal plate of his chest armor, studying it with interest. “You are strong,” you said softly, your fingers tracing the edge. “You stand like a warrior.” Then your golden eyes lifted to his. “And you look at me like you are not afraid.”
Behind him someone whispered loudly, “Buddy, she’s flirting with you.”
Another recom laughed. “No kidding.”
Lyle leaned down slightly so your faces were closer. “I ain’t afraid of much.”
Your tail curled slightly with satisfaction. “Good,” you murmured. “Because I plan to keep you.”
The entire recom squad burst out laughing. “DAMN,” Zdog said. “Girl’s got plans already.”
Lyle shook his head, grinning. “You always decide that fast?”
You shrugged lightly. “When I see something worth taking.” Your gaze flicked briefly to the other recoms before returning to him. “They do not compare.”
One of them dramatically clutched his chest. “Ouch.”
Lopez added, “Man, she just eliminated the whole squad.”
Lyle laughed. “You know I might not be staying here.”
Your expression didn’t change. “You will.”
“How you figure that?”
You leaned closer, your voice teasing now. “Because I will not allow you to leave.”
Behind him Zdog whispered loudly, “Wainfleet you’re being adopted.”
“Or kidnapped,” another added.
Lyle smirked down at you. “And what makes you think I’d go along with that?”
Your eyes gleamed with quiet confidence. “Because you have not stopped smiling since I walked over.”
For the first time, Lyle didn’t have a quick comeback. Behind him the recoms erupted again. “OH SHE GOT YOU.” “Damn Wainfleet.”
He shook his head, laughing. “Alright, Ash girl.”
Your ears flicked slightly. “What?”
“What’s your plan then?”
You stepped even closer until your shoulders almost touched. Your voice softened. “You stay.” After a pause you added, “Then we see what happens.”
Lyle studied you for a moment before grinning. “Well hell. That might be the best offer I’ve had all week.”
Your satisfied smile returned. Across the clearing, Varang briefly glanced at the two of you, noticing everything, but she said nothing. For now. Because the way you were looking at that soldier made one thing very clear: this story had only just begun.
The story I just posted might get more parts. I tried to keep it a one-shot. I really did.
