Isn't that normal in these times?

I'm pretty frustrated how bosses are fucked up. I've been patiently waiting for payment for my latest job for the past five days, but so far I've received nothing.

I tried calling the supervisor several times without success. Eventually, I contacted a former coworker and asked if I could speak with the boss directly. Thankfully, I got a call back within a minute.

At the moment, I'm still waiting for information about my payment, as the boss said he needs to speak with the accountant first.

Situations like this remind me why I'm glad I no longer work for that company. Delaying payment and leaving employees without clear answers is simply not normal or professional...

If the issue isn't resolved soon, I'll have to report it to the Labour Inspectorate. However, I'd like to give them two more days to settle the matter amicably before taking any further steps.
