Red Mage unlocked! Soul Crystals actually have some pretty interesting lore that, for ease of gameplay, the game kind of glosses over. Speaking strictly in-universe, attuning to one of these crystals is all but guaranteed, as the crystal has to sense the potential in you to match and surpass its past owners. In gameplay terms all job stones respond to you, but realistically speaking the average WoL is bound to come across crystals that they just don't have the right attitude for. Well, unless your WoL is some kind of battle savant, that is.
Man, I haven't seriously gposed in a long time, but FFXIV has been a lot on my mind lately and maybe I can try to ease back into things. And Brio has added so many toys for lighting, it makes me want to test what they can do. This shot alone ended up using six light points, even though there's really only two light sources.
