Everyday I mourn that Gravity Falls X Over The Garden Wall fic were Dipper and Mabel landed in the unknown cause they almost died falling off a cliff after being kicked off a bus.

I'm hoping someone here might know what happened.
About a week ago (around June 13th), the AO3 author LadyNepenthe deleted not only scattered across my family line (i'm so good at telling lies) but also all of their other works and their entire profile.
I'm honestly devastated.
Scattered across my family line (i'm so good at telling lies) was one of my favorite fanfics. The writing was beautiful, the characterization was incredible, and the story was so emotionally rich that I found myself thinking about it long after I finished each chapter.
It was the kind of story that made me analyze every detail, come up with endless theories, and eagerly wait for each update. The characters felt complex and human, and I became deeply invested in their journey.
Does anyone know what happened? Did the author move to another platform, change usernames, announce a hiatus, or mention why they decided to remove everything?
I'm not asking out of entitlement—I completely respect an author's right to do whatever they want with their work. I'm mostly sad, confused, and hoping that someone might know if they're okay.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
For anyone unfamiliar with the story, it followed Princess Rhaella Targaryen (OC), once the beloved daughter of King Daeron and the darling of the royal court. Despite being promised a future of her own choosing, she was ultimately married off to a much older Hightower for political reasons and spent years far from home in a deeply unhappy marriage.
After being widowed, Rhaella returns to King's Landing after more than a decade away. No longer the sheltered princess she once was, she comes back determined to reclaim the place, influence, and life that were taken from her.
The story focused heavily on family dynamics, resentment, political intrigue, and the long-lasting consequences of choices made years earlier. At the heart of it was Rhaella's complicated relationship with her brothers—especially Baelor and Maekar—whom she holds largely responsible for the course her life took.
It was a fascinating character study filled with grief, anger, regret, and unresolved feelings, and it quickly became one of my favorite fanfics.
P.S. If the author somehow sees this: thank you for sharing your work. It was an amazing story and it left a lasting impression on me. I completely respect your decision, whatever the reason may be, but I hope you're doing well.
And, selfishly, I hope you'll come back someday. I really, really wanted to know what happened next.

people kept leaving hate in my inbox about supposed “use of ai!” i got two separate messages from two users claiming that i use ai in my writing and calling my work “ai slop.”
i have actually been meaning to address this.
firstly, if you don’t like my writing or deem it unfit for yourself, don’t read it. no one is holding you hostage forcing you to read my work. if you find my style of writing offensive to you or think it’s “ai slop,” you are NOT required to read a single word of it. leaving hateful comments is a good way to push a writer off from a platform.
secondly, i have my own stances on ai. i have used ai to grammatically correct and edit my work. i have used ai to help me find a better flow. but never have i used ai to write an entire story or as more than just a tool to EDIT and POLISH my OWN ideas and writing. i should not have had to clarify this. but i will go the extra step because i am not fond of the hateful comments coming through my inbox.
some universities, including the one i attend, promote ai as a tool in writing - that’s what it is. a tool. for people to use. do i think writers should use it to generate an entire story and sell it to people as their own? no. do i think writers have the right to use it as an editing tool as it’s being permitted by ACCREDITED UNIVERSITIES? if they wish to.
that’s my personal opinion and you can do with it as you wish. read my stuff or don’t. you have the liberty to make that choice.
that’s why i deleted my last story. a crazy amount of hate came through my inbox and i won’t stand for that shit. i’m doing this as a hobby in my free time for enjoyment. i don’t need that crap.
for those that enjoy my writing and were sad to see the fic go, i apologize. there will hopefully be more to come!

What fic do you consider "the one that got away"? one that you absolutely Adored but that got deleted. Mine was a steddie fic where Eddie could hear what people's souls sounded like, and Steve's was a sad, lonely harp. Eddie could play violin, and he played an accompaniment to Steve's harp, and the writing was so beautiful and heartbreaking. The author even included links to real songs that you could listen to as you read along, and sort of "hear" what the characters were feeling. I only remember two songs: Nana by Remy van Kesteren and Dances for Harp and Orchestra, L. 103: 2. Danse profane by Lavinia Meijer. These songs got me interested in the harp, and I listen to it so often now because of that fic.
I wish I had been able to tell the author how much I love their work. I really do think about that fic every single day. It was so well written, and incredibly moving. I miss it dearly.
Leave comments, please. Especially on fics you like. Not just to keep it from being deleted, but to let the author know that all their work is being appreciated.
hi! this is a bit of a long shot but i'm looking for a deleted aftg fic called "deep blue but you painted me golden" by jeaneil_22. i managed to recover part of it through the wayback machine but i'm still missing about a third of the fic. if anyone downloaded it (epub/pdf) or has a full copy saved somewhere, i would be incredibly grateful if you could share it with me. thank you!
An idea for a poll: Have you ever deleted a fic and later wanted it back and attempted to get it back, either via still having a copy of it yourself or via getting it back by other means, for example using the Wayback machine or asking around?
