A Bkdk fic where Deku is a paranormal investigator (maybe doing a podcast or a mini series or something) and Bakugou is a demon that keeps messing with him. And they become partners but Bakugou keeps scaring away all the other ghosts because he’s feeling a little possessive and protective over Deku. And Deku is just like wth where are all the ghosties and has no idea what’s going on until he somehow figures out the truth ???
It sounds better in my head maybe but like I wanna write it lol
In which a forest witch finds it in herself to save the little demon boy from her old village of humans, with the help of a certain red dragon...
Y/n sat enjoying her cup of herbal tea, watching outside the big window next to the rather small, round table she sat at. It seemed like the Forest was quiet today. Of course, that was because of the weather; it was slightly cloudy, but somehow the atmosphere wasn’t gloomy.
“There was word of a demon child in the village today,” Kirishima, the dragon Y/n had basically grown up with said, catching your attention slightly.
“Aren’t they all?” Y/n, the “Wretched” witch of the forest- is what the humans called her, asked.
“One of actual demon blood, Master,” Kirishima added, slightly deadpanned.
“Oh? And?” Y/n asked, expecting more since there was no reason for her to act. It simply didn’t have to do with her, so why did it matter so much Kirishima decided it was something worth reporting? Y/n pouted slightly, didn’t she tell Kirishima not to call her master?
“Just thought you’d want to know,” Kirishima admitted, knowing the witch’s past, along with other creatures experience in that village.
Y/n had a soft spot for those who were or are mistreated due to what they are, it was specifically the humans, or Red Bloods- in the terms of most other creatures, tended to be the most hateful.
It made sense she was the way she was, and despite her cold exterior she really was just a girl on the inside. One that got extremely embarrassed all the time, it was funny really. Well, to Kirishima.
The way she’d always turn to hide her blush and clear her throat, he knew how she really felt. Always tempted to just turn and crawl into a corner so she doesn’t have to face the world anymore. She’d done it before, just only in front of him. Maybe that’s why he found it so funny.
The red dragon was glad she still tended to care, and show some emotions. When she was a child, she’d gone through things a child should never have to.
Memories of her father desperate to protect her and her mother, only to result in his death. Her mother dubbed an evil witch, when in reality all she really did was help people.
The village people knew she was a witch from the start as well, it was only when the previous chief fell ill and the new one took her place. The new chief wasn’t an excepting man. Because of him, many things were blamed on Y/n’s mother.
“He’s getting the same treatment you did,” Kirishima added, your gaze snapped back to him with widened eyes. “The child?”
Y/n flinched and sighed as she got up.

Right as the edge of the forest, a bruised and battered blonde child no taller than three (3) feet tall stood crouched over, using his arms as a shield from the other children.
The simple approach of a women, clearly older and taller then them made their throwing stones come to a halt. Surely, you were coming their way to reprimand them and scold and yell at them.
The little demon boy was getting the treatment you had years ago.
You bent down to one of the children who dropped their stone as you smiled gently and pat their head before you stood back up.
“You should be kind to all, children. You never know if they’ll come back or not, and you never know if they could be a friend if you make them leave, “ Y/n, the kind witch of the Forest- is what the mystical creatures called you.
Another stone came flying, hitting you on the cheek leaving surely a bruise and cut which bled down your cheek as if it were a tear. Kirishima was ready to attack as he got ready to pounce on the human that did that, but you raised a hand, silently telling him to stop.
“Stop teaching our children your horrible ways!”
“Get away from that monster, children!”
More stones came flying towards you, Kirishima, and the boy you stood in front of. Without reacting to the stones and humans, you turned to the boy. Crouching down to his level with another kind smile. You held you hand out, “Are you alright?”
The boy, reluctantly and cautiously, took your hand and your smile grew. “One day, we’ll have no choice but to forgive the Red Bloods. They may need our help, after all.” You weren’t sure how the boy felt about humans, but you knew for a fact they weren’t all bad. Most were just easily swayed, and some were truly kind. Just like your father was. “What’s your name, child?”
“Katsuki,” the child- Katsuki answered.
You turned, heading back into the forest. The Forest of Despicable Creatures, as you know who called it, was where you resided from the day they threw stones at you to now, when they threw stones at you, Kirishima, and Katsuki. There was something nice about not being alone this time around.
As you got deeper and deeper into the forest, you couldn’t see one despicable thing about it. The forest imps and elves may not always get along, but it doesn’t change the general peacefulness of the forest. A dragon’s roar is simple a wolf’s cry coming from a different creature. Fairies may be mischievous and pull pranks, but they don’t stone those who are different from them. The Forest of Diversities is what those who inhabited the enchanted place called it.
Kirishima looked at the witch beside him, and felt a little warmer. After all, at the end of the day, what he saw was just a girl on the inside. One that was hurt, and yet managed to retain her kindness, all to learn to forgive and help all other creatures. One he was glad to call his master.
