In the Fade
In the Fade [trailer]
A woman's life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After a time of mourning and injustice, she seeks revenge.
I can understand the anger that lead to Akin making this movie. But it is still a relatively simple revenge drama.
For the longest time I was sceptical of Kruger's acting capability. Her recent performances have lead me to put that scepticism aside.
The terrorist events in Germany mentioned at the end of the movie that sort of inspired the film.
Side note, while much of the film felt realistic, the kid looked like he was from a catalogue.
