Dentigerous Cyst Removal with Jaw Reconstruction This young man developed a swelling in his right posterior mandibular region. He presented to our hospital for management. Imaging and biopsies were obtained. He had a radiolucent lesion in relation to an impacted third molar. Biopsy returned with the diagnosis of a dentigerous cyst. Rib grafts were first harvested from the patient. The cyst was completely enucleated along with removal of the impacted third molar. Rib grafts were used to reconstruct the resultant bony defect. He will return in four months following bony consolidation of the grafts with the surrounding alveolar bone. Dental implants will be fixed followed by a ceramic bridge after osseointegration of implants with surrounding bone. ๐ Phone: +91 44 4294 7222 ๐ฌ Email: [email protected] ๐ Website: www.smbalaji.com ๐ Location: Chennai, India #dentigerouscystremoval #jawreconstruction #reconstructivesurgery #biopsy #mandible #dentigerouscyst #cyst #cystremoval #dentalimplants #dentalimplant #implant #maxillofacialsurgeon #smbalaji #drsmbalaji #balajidental #india #chennai #tmilnadu #surgeon #surgery #thridmolar #ribgraft (at Balaji Dental and Craniofacial Hospital) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAKwtQAFalJ/?igshid=hbgf8paj0yvl
