Some images drawn by Derek Drymon were uploaded. It promotes "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants." His style seems reminiscent of the earliest SpongeBob, indicating he's the co-creator, although likely hasn't drawn in a while.

The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants (2025)
This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants has several uses of intense lightning with brief but extreme strobe light effects. The scenes that use this effect are all loud, meaning that the scenes without them are all quieter. These effects can be unpredictable at times.
The film opens with a live-action prologue taking place on the rocking sea, including in a ship that is rocking back and forth. A late sequence contains peril at extreme heights, and disorienting maneuvers at high speeds.
Flashing Lights: 9/10. Motion Sickness: 4/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: A character turns away from the camera and vomits while being filmed at a distance. This is very brief and quiet, and occurs immediately after they witness something disturbing.
BRANDON'S REVIEW: For longtime fans of SpongeBob SquarePants, this film delivers on the classic style of humor from the early seasons, while taking some modern liberties that do not hurt the film in any way. This film uses a very reasonable runtime to give us exactly what we could want, including acclaimed actors who are visibly having a great time working on the project. While the actors' voices are noticeably aging, and the IP may be a little stale, parents everywhere will be glad they took their kids to this over its blockbuster competition. Grade: B.

3/5
It’s a good pilot for the show in that it’s pointlessly cruel to its characters, having birthed a foul creature into existence whose biological duology can only cause its own suffering. It’s a bad pilot for the show in that we don’t really like that and don’t really want to watch more of it, and it’s a little confusing why you expect kids aren’t just going to find it depressing (as we did). Also it’s just not funny.
