IT’S OFFICIAL; OUR FIRST PLOT DROP IS HERE! As you’ve probably noticed over the course of the past week, the Derry Inquirer has been releasing information about a handful of missing children in town. In a town like Derry, this isn’t exactly uncommon, but such a multitude of similar crime hasn’t happened in the small Maine town in roughly… twenty seven years. For those who have been around long enough to know what happened last time, this is not a matter to take lightly, and there will certainly be more names on the list for missing persons before all is said and done.
But, for those who have never witnessed such horror, a new bout of fear is likely to dwell within you. Fear, being the key word. The very thing you’re most afraid of, embodied in a creature so vile it will not let anything stand in it’s way to feed, specifically on children.
While body parts continue to turn up around town and strange happenings seem to gather in places like the woods and the sewers (don’t even get me started about how odd the old house on Niebolt street seems), it’s as though only one thing can explain the phenomenon. A predator. A monster.
It.
Adjacent with the missing children in town, the folks of Derry will now have the opportunity to not only witness things such as yellow eyes in the darkness or shadows in the corner, but you will be able to interact with Pennywise, in para form. We have selected a writer, whose alias will remain anonymous, to take on the role of the horrific being, giving you all the opportunity to delve your characters into new and scary interactions, incorporating the themes of fear and horror in your writing through the wonderful works of Stephen King!
You can follow Pennywise’s blog HERE, and can direct any questions to the main! We can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
