Task 004: Home Sweet Home

Emiri moved into her little bungalow five years ago after saving up enough to purchase it. Gradually over the years she has been renovating it to her taste and is now in a place where she doesn’t feel it needs anymore meddling with. Living alone expect for the many plants she collects, a self-proclaimed plant mother.

It’s no secret that the Volkov mansion is a sight to behold; it’s just that not very many get to behold it often. Tucked away and hidden from prying eyes lies the monolith that is the epicenter of their family, with all Volkov siblings still staking their claims on their old rooms. Having grown up in this house, Vasili doesn’t see it as extravagant as others might, but being deeply private, he also doesn’t want to share it with just anyone. He is the last remaining sibling in the house, but it is rare to see him allowing anyone into his room, being fiercely protective of his space. Though sometimes the halls seem empty, most of his favourite memories were made in the walls of the house, and he isn’t too eager to leave them just yet.

Nothing has ever felt truly like home to Grace, and with her apartment being what it is (small, comfortable, enough), she hasn’t put in lots of thought into decorating or even making it too personal. The apartment is quite minimalist, but to Grace, it’s just a place to sleep. The one thing that she requires is her pillow, and she rarely gets a good night sleep without it. Grace doesn’t allow many people to visit, as she finds it too intimate, always opting to go elsewhere, and only those closest to her have seen her apartment. She’s currently renting, and has lived there since moving out of her late uncles home after his passing, with no intention to buy, despite feeling the pressure to sell their childhood home, however, Grace can’t find it within herself to do it. She lives alone, without pets, and the one thing that she wishes for is a larger garage so she can work on her car on her day’s off, without taking it to Chromed.

Task 004: Home Sweet Home

Klara has lived at her home just outside Oceanside for the past five years, inheriting it fully when her third husband passed away untimely two years ago. Deciding she was happy there, she did not sell the estate on and instead three months after the funeral had the whole place renovated to her taste. For the past two years she has been blissfully living alone (with a live in maid) in her own perfect oasis, occasionally having her siblings occupy a guest room.

TASK 004: Home Sweet Home

Since moving out at the age of 23, Rocco has had his own place all to himself (generously gifted by his father, of course).

A stark contrast from the lavish Scordato mansion that he had grown up in, the modest 1 bedroom, 2-bath house near Harbor beach is more fitting for the male. As Rocco is someone who enjoys a more humble approach in his own life, it can be said that his home is very telling of who he is. Bright, open, and with a touch of modern living, the house exudes an air of confidence of someone who simply desires to live than to have.

If one were to judge the home without knowing of his last name, anyone could have considered him as anything but tied to the mafia life.

Needless to say, the weather in California is worlds away from his home in New York. Trading in the snow for the surf, he realised very early on in his move that things would be different, but built a house to emulate as much of his home in New York as he could. Dark, modern and sleek, just like its owner, the house is owned completely by Wolf, complete with a fully stocked kitchen, small library and pool. There was a toss up between building it by the beach, or further inland, but he decided that he wanted the privacy of the nearby wooded areas of Oceanside, and aside from a few temporary lodgers, he has always remained alone, preferring to keep to himself when he’s not at work. If he’s not in the pool during summer, he’s talking strolls through his surroundings with his loyal pooch Ares.
