Ugh. I really, really dislike what Tumblr has done to the desktop version of the website. (I feel like they've gotten rid of the desktop version of Tumblr because the interface these days looks and feels very mobile-like.) Not everybody uses their phone to view Tumblr and its content. (Where I can turn off this mobile-like interface on my desktop or is it even possible anymore?)

can websites ditch the mobile-fication of their desktop sites? wikipedia's new desktop browser was clearly made for mobile but it's ugly as fuck and the white space is distracting on desktop.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A NEW LAYOUT UPDATE SINCE MONTHS (it happened after an update)?!?!?! srsly youtube?!?!? That’s such an interface fail!!! Those elements are supposed to adjust to the screen and not disappear... I hate programming but I know at least that still.

was... was there a new update on tumblr that i didn't notice? like the notes are not over the reblog like options and holy hell, i feel like i'm tripping. i thought it was a screenshot at first (the part of the notes) and clicked and it wasn't a screenshot and i shrieked.
