I haven’t. But maybe, just maybe, I’ll watch it this weekend :)

I’m gonna tell you the story of why do I want to watch Minions.

When I went to the movies to watch Inside Out last month, before the movie there was the trailer of Minions. It was cool and funny and all, till it got to the part when the trailer reveals Scarlet Overkill voice actress O.O

In my country who gives voice to Scarlet is the Mexican singer and actress Thalia. So that was a reason to give me some interest in this movie. Then it showed that the Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin is Scarlet’s husband's voice XD Whenever I hear of Ricky Martin voicing an animated character I think of the time he dubbed Hercules in the Disney movie. He was great! I did not like other Latin American singers doing dub for a Disney movie, like Chayanne dubbing Flynn Rider in Tangled. But Ricky Martin was really cool as Hercules, so that’s a plus if he is part of the dub for Minions.

Then I thought “If someone famous like Thalia is giving the main villain her voice, who is the North American actress who will give her voice in the original language of the movie?” When I read it was none other than Sandra Bullock, that sealed the deal for me LOL Sandra is hilarious and I can’t pass the opportunity of her doing voice acting in a comedic animated movie like this one XD

Finally I thought that before watching Minions I would like to watch Despicable Me, and Despicable Me 2. Which I did a couple of weeks ago. I also remember that maybe it was you the one asking me a long time ago if I have watched Despicable Me. Now let me tell you, Dani, I LOVED both movies!!! They were really beautiful. Not only funny and entertaining, but also very emotional and heartfelt. Especially the first movie. They were really sweet and I’m very glad I got to watch them :) I can say now that I’m “ready” to watch Minions XD
