What are the odds of Destiny HERO Disk Commander getting added to Rush Duel as a Legend card?
Low I think unless they can sort out how to handle the rest of the Destiny HEROes. We've been able most of the OG Elemental HERO cards so far because they only have a single effect, and a condition regarding summoning.
Lemme go a bit more in depth
I mean we did get Alien Shocktrooper without other Aliens. I will acknowledge that.
But I think at this point, they'd prefer to release legacy stuff as part of a wider set?
Basically, the problem children, let's say they stick with Season 2's wave exclusively for Edo Phoenix.
Captain Tenacious:
Its effect is unprecedented, Rush Duel doesn't like lingering effects or 'remembering'. To the extent Tenacious is fond of.
Doom Lord:
Could make it place stuff on the bottom or top of the Deck, but you have trouble reimagining the effect to emulate its intent.
Diamond Dude:
A 'remember this' effect, but this is probably the least grief inducing but this feels like it could easily become a troublemaker.
Dreadmaster:
It has 3 effects. You could probably be very clever with making it all one Ignition Effect somehow but this one is a massive pain and the ass, and the iconic first duel boss of Destiny HERO.
Defender:
Its stats make it a Legend, but you can make its draw effect a Continuous Effect that doesn't cause issue.
Dogma:
Rush Duel has generally not done summons like this so far. It's not impossible. But its LP halving strikes me as far more difficult, as it might get into calculation shenanigans Rush has typically avoided.
Double Dude:
2 Effects. Its double attack is fine, but its Tokens are unprecedented. Its conditions on summoning are a non-issue.
Blade Master:
Rush Duel does not have Hand Traps.
Fear Monger:
Unprecedented Effect, Rush Duel doesn't do Triggers or lingering effects like this except stat adjustments.
Dasher:
Attaching its two effects together shouldn't be an issue. But again, Graveyard Trigger Effect, Rush Duel doesn't do this. 3 Effects.
Celestial:
I think if you ditch the draw effect part you can probably do this without too much hassle.
Dark Angel:
This is probably getting skipped.
Malicious:
Rush doesn't do cards like this.
Plasma:
2 Effects. Monster Equips don't exist and Rush has generally avoided mass negation outside of Jinzo who had to be reworded. Rush likes one effect cards or effects you can pick from a list.
Disc Commander:
Possible but it'd have to be pre-Errata Disc Commander, and I expect some restriction shenanigans stapled but this is actually plausible.
Dunker:
Change to DARK Warrior and this is a non-issue.
Basically, Disc Commander would likely be released with a Destiny HERO wave, and the Destiny HERO cards do a lot of things Rush Duel at current has not done or goes against its design ethos, and they're likely to stick to the early GX version of the Deck.
So I'm currently not seeing it, fam.
