Dude the last time I read The Outsiders was 10 years ago in seventh grade also holy crap I’m old. I just read over the wikipedia article and I’m gonna do the best I can!

She’s dripping, looking half a mess with her hair all drenched and falling around her face.

She’s the best bit of beautiful Percy’s ever seen.

"We should get her," Percy says, nodding toward the girl, "c’mon, Grover, let’s pick her up."

Grover turns to him. “You got a death wish? She’s a Soc, we’re gonna get ourselves killed if Luke finds out.”

But Percy’s already got a hand on the door, and Grover has to stop or else Percy’ll roll right out.

"I’ll kill you if you die," grumbles Grover.

Percy runs out the door, pulling his jacket over his head, and stumbles over to the girl. “You’re Annabeth, right?” he asks. “Want a ride out of the storm?”

She looks at him. “How do you know my name?”

He shrugs, grinning at her. “You got a bit of a reputation around here, Miss 4.0.”

She shrugs, pushing her hair out of her eyes. “Had to be good at something, now, didn’t I?”

Percy pulls his jacket off his shoulders and drapes it over hers. “I’m Percy.”

"I’m getting your jacket all wet."

Percy shrugs. “Looks better on you anyway.”
