I made Detective Pikachu’s deerstalker hat in cake form for #PokeNoms!

I wanted to make the hat entirely out of cake and icing, without relying on fondant or skewers! I use a dome cake mold to get the shape, and sliced about an inch off the bottom to form the brim of the hat. I coated the whole thing liberally in icing, and used a mesh strainer to get the texture. It was challenging, but a fun little project!
