A small sketch and third appearance of Destard (now entirely) and his... Symptom – Fatigue (human name – Pibery). Since the posts are random, here are a couple of things about Destard and lore of the Pestilence’s Descendants.
So, Destard is a First-generation descendant of the Rider and is about 90% disease (i.e., a huge intelligent colony of one type of virus cells) and 10% representative of the Galvan race (magic anthropomorphic bats). This percentage is due to the high aggressiveness of the Pestilence’s genes (as, in fact, any viruses is), but it is the remaining 10-15% of the genes of the second parent that allow the virus to form an " intelligent colony".
Descendants of the First generation very rarely experience a craving for reproduction specifically in sexual terms with multicellular organisms, so descendants of the Second generation are incredibly rare.
In the Second generation, Pestilence’s genes become weaker and make up no more than 60 per cent. The second descendants are already multicellular organisms, and have the powers of the First generation - turn into "fog", infect enemies, be invulnerable to material weapons, and be able to resurrect even from the smallest piece of their flesh.
Descendants of the Third generation are already more common and have less than 30% of the Pestilence’s genes. They can be described as "Asymptomatic or Healthy carriers" (those who can carry the virus without getting sick themselves). They are many times weaker than the Second Generation, but they can also infect their opponents and, very rarely, pass through objects.
However, sometimes in the Third generation, there are "defects", which are called Symptoms (to whom Pibery belongs).
Symptoms depend on the descendants of the First and Second (sometimes Third) generation because the Pestilence’s gene in them could not balance the "second side", which is why their bodies sometimes "eat themselves" at the cellular level, but cannot regenerate what was lost. Like satellite viruses, they need a host-virus nearby so that their body can heal even a scratch.
However, the Symptoms have only one special power – to cause enemies to have a certain "symptom" of the disease (fever, rash, exhaustion, etc.) through just a touch (also if Symptoms train long and hard enough, they could do it even without touch directly through the look). Unfortunately, Symptoms often don’t live long, especially if they remain for a long time without an "older" descendant and because of this critical dependence, they often become servants for their "older gene relatives".
