No really. Where was he. In the original trilogy too. Where was he.

To me, the Haymitch we see in the trilogy never read as cocky and arrogant. He just sounded like he hated himself and was taking it out on other people. AKA entirely consistent with the guy we see in SOTR, who makes comments about Maysilee and Wyatt when he's nervous, and blames everything on himself in the end.

#sotr spoilers #i just think that #people had an image of him in their minds #yes based on the trilogy #but there are other things that base could have meant #in fact i think having him act slightly different is interesting #it would have been boring if he was the same as we see in the trilogy #thats growth #or rather #deterioration #and seriously what personal at 40 would say they havent changed at all since they were 16 #get real peeps
