The Musings and Times of a Curious Demon Playing a Chinese Fanmade DMC Dating Sim.
The post that kickstarted my investigation. (As well as DMCV Spoilers below.)
Hello all! I came across the post above while in my big V simp ways. The art style and vibe interested me so much, not to mention the girl in the middle is so pretty! Buuut imagine my disappointment to find that the game is COMPLETELY in chinese. so in defeat, i sent it to my friend, enjoyed my dominos and went to bed. But i guess while i slept i just couldnt let this game go, Maybe i dreamed about it without realising! So, My curious self sat at my desk, downloaded the game and its files, made a cheeky cup of tea and with phone in hand, i delved into the unknown with the quest to steal V's heart!
Now, The purple lady i play as is actually a witch! cool! She has long purple hair and purple eyes and wears that beautiful outfit. Like any old otome, i punched in my name and jumped in. The game begins at where DMCV nears its end, Its right before V returns into Urizen and brings back Vergil (Which, by the way, JUST got over so already fuck you game >:(((( ) But, every now and then, the game cuts back to the witch, me, locked in a cage. I looked sad and i was talking about wanting somebody, even if 'a demon answers my call' and it looks like either something happened to stop the fusion, or this is a flashback. (Im betting its the former!) Talk about mysterious!
This is where the game truly begins. Dante here is saying 'What happened...?' OO!! i know what happened! i reversed time!...I think. Yeah i did! Because Dante, Nero And...Vergil are here?? Wait but if it set time back, where's V? In game me is dumb lol. (< Immense coping intensifies.)
NEVER MIND V'S HERE! Crisis Av-er-ted!~ But strangly he can't summon Griffon or Shadow. Looks like the guys aren't in RedGrave at all, this is starting to get confusing. A brick stone castle? ooohh i brought them all back to my house with my spell!

I dont blame Witch me for questioning who they are because if i woke up in my apartment and these 4 were in my living room? I'd call the police !!! Sooo basically Witch me is stuck in this big house and wants to leave, and she's been trying everything to escape and no ones come by, till now at least. 'Witch Me: Bruh i'd even take Dying over staying here. Vergil: Aight Say less' LIKE HELLOO??
oh, so i cant even die??? damn tf did i do then? who did i piss off. Was it netflix? is it because i said they'll never catch me watching their dmc show on there? Is it Adi shakar or whatever his name? honestly GOOD. Okay so, Looks like the guys can't leave either. So if they help me escape they can head home, bet! FINALLY IM FREE FROM THE INTRO i think i underestimated how long this demo is... So i'm afriad my translations are going to be few and far between (plus my phone is starting to heat up. But right now, the lads are exploring outside and Dante, Vergil and Nero are doing a bit of end game catch up if ykwim (He basically drops the nero being vergils kid thing.) Judging by this Demo's length, and the natural wordiness that comes with an otome, i've decided to close my investigation. I may haven't been able to steal V's heart but how can i steal what i already got ya know? :3
My goal for this investigation is to put more eyes on this game so maybe a proper fan translation can be put together (if one dosen't exist already.) Though sadly this demo may remain just a demo. sad times. But! i hope my investigation has got the gears turning! Show's Over!
