Might just be me but why did Matt going to confront Fisk lowkey sound like an attempt to break up with him, he was all “so I think we should both leave the city because our whole thing is toxic and we can’t stop fighting each other” and Fisk was like “yeah but we both want it though” and then they proceeded to carry on fighting even though their hearts weren’t really in it? What the fuck.

Also the fact that the Kingpin is grieving so hard that he doesn’t say a fucking word in this episode till his worst enemy shows up to chat? Matt offering condolences and then ragebaiting him a lil? The symbolism of the ruined painting representing the destruction their whole hatred for each other brings to all their other relationships and the parallels to s3 (like, get yourself an enemy that will beat you up in front of their favourite painting after you did that to them once ig). The whole episode is giving me so many Thoughts about them and their enemy dynamic istg
