Hal and Percy!
Hal’s Maze Dialogue
[art: Emily Rabbit]
Hey, everyone! I’m currently finishing up some fixes for Act 1.1 which will be re-released in the next month or so, and will even feature some new artwork by JQ!
I’ve gone back in to implement the new re-designed dialogue system currently seen in Act 2 to be less distracting and more streamlined. Hopefully everyone agrees that this is an easier and better way to read their favourite cat comic ;) The dialogue system has been a collaborative effort between myself, KB, and Emily Rabbit!
Thanks again to all of you catastic readers and followers, we <3 you!
I’ve been working on a new dialogue system for Catalist! Here is a sneak peek ;)
Once Act 2 is in full swing, I’m going in to rework Act 1, along with doing some Director’s Cuts by adding a few new panels and fixing some oversights. Until next time, catcha all later :)
I’m going to start posting all Act One dialogue system development & a few finals. It’s all really inspired by a lot of jRPGs from the SNES/PS1/PS2 era (if you didn’t guess).
I worked closely with Kanesha (theveryworstthing) on the emotions and keeping the characters on-model while having her amazing style shine. One of my personal favorite characters of Act One is Solomon and his range of emotions... even if he’s a giant shit head.
