I'm going off of memory here since i can't see the ask anymore, so they're not worded exactly like the ask 🥹
1. If Meursault has ever thought of his feelings as "Love" or simply as a fact
I feel like he believes that the closest word that explains our bond and what he feels towards me is "Love", close enough that he does say that he loves me. The main thing about diamondchain is that Dove's presence and how he interacts with anything really challenges Meursault's own feelings about things he felt like he already knew about . Dove's something he has never experienced before or as strongly as he does now, including love .
2. If meur were to give me a compliment at the current moment, what would it be?
That's a tricky one,, I suffer from one hell of an inferiority complex, so finding good things about myself is quite difficult . I think? He'd call me adorable,, Most of the ways I tackle things are seen as illogical or "more than I make it seem" (Someone who feels more intensely than most being seen by someone who feels less intensely than most) but it's amusing to him somehow. To him it's like seeing a cat try and jump to a higher surface and fail. </3
3. Is there any difference between how Limbus Meursault and "The Stranger" Meursault feels about me , like a feeling limbus meur has a word for, while camus meur doesn't
I think something alike to the need for affection from Dove specifically. It's my own thoughts on this but i feel like camus meur only was affectionate towards Marie because she was the only one that wished for affection from him, and his affection was simply the desire for someone. I believe that limbus meur would come to terms more easily with the idea of wanting Dove specifically while camus meur would try and sate that desire with anyone and find that nothing feels as much as it feels when Dove's around.
4. Specific weather that reminds me of meur/diamondchain !
Light rain! The cold that comes with rain and the gentleness of the raindrops that takes me a moment to process, then look up and think "Oh, it's raining." Reminds me a lot of Meursault. I remember this one time i was on the beach and it began to rain, and I thought that, that moment specifically, was the closest i've ever felt to Meursault physically.
I had such a fun time thinking of these specially since no one has ever asked me questions about the difference between my approach with limbus meur vs camus meur ,,, gfjfhjghg I love this man so much .
