i think the most important thing to remember about this blog is that everything here is coming from the perspective of an asexual agender philosojester. so please try not to take the seemingly overtly sexual nature at face value all the time.
sometimes it is genuine, yes, but you can always tell when thats the case by the tone. most of this is just jokes, specifically dick jokes, and often times dick jokes used as a means to empower our trans and nb siblings and to strip away the taboo of human anatomy.
there is nothing inherently "bad" or "forbidden" about any part of your body. i just decided to focus on dicks because i have the sense of humor of a 12 year old and i happen to have one. but even all this talk of dicks shouldnt be taken at face value as being about the physical thing all the time, either!
i often talk about or allude to the "soul penis". what this is and what this means for you will vary from person to person, as phallic imagery has a lot of different meanings and connotations all across the globe. even from within a single country, there can be dozens of different cultural understandings of a simple oblong piece of flesh.
what i hope to do in stripping away the taboo and badness western puritanical society assigns to this particular body part through crude humor and the occasional bit of philosophical discourse is to perhaps redefine your relationship to this normal human body part and break down any shame that may be attached to it, for any reason. to reorient your view of its symbolic meaning for you personally into something positive, or at the very least, neutral and unoffensive.
because the human body, be it yours or somebody elses, should not be in any way offensive to you, and neither should the thoughts and symbology attached to these wonderful meat machines we all find ourselves inhabiting.
every now and then i like to pause the hahas to remake this mission statement because i think its important. because this is the true goal of this blog. its to brighten your day with laughter, yes, but also to brighten your life going forward with a new, less demeaning or shameful or offensive understanding of yourself and others.
learn to love yourself and others - even the funniest, silliest parts of your bodies - and to find beauty and profundity in every aspect, and you will be one step closer to living a fuller, happier life.
