i never understood the systems who said having alters is like having friends. cause no matter how many alters im on good terms with, talking to them doesn’t feel like talking to friends. asking an opinion and getting an answer feels lesser than asking an opinion from a friend and getting a response. sometimes talking to an alter is nice but it’s not truly socializing.

because we’ve been struggling, i just wanna say a special good night to systems who just feel different from the system community. the people who feel as though their system works weird compared to other, systems who always have to question everything because their experiences are just different.

- have a eldridge horror alter who’s hard to talk to (bonus points if everyone was just like “eh” when you discovered them)

- have a subsystem who won’t stop fronting together and having them all together is a headache

- have an alter with a specific role who is just BAD at their role

- have an alter who’s role you just can’t explain

- have absolutely NO memory of their trauma and gatekeepers don’t know where the memories are either

- spent over a year trying to figure out what system type you were, thought you knew, and then one alter made you rethink it again

- have a gatekeeper who also a persecutor and all they do is make unknown alters front when they’re upset at you

- constantly feel crazy

black outs suck but having a black out and being completely unaware you had a black out until you find something you just straight up don’t remember doing or any part of what you did and then you’re like “did i do that, tho..”
