"I actually worked on [Young Veins (Die Tonight)] with Danny [Fujikawa] from Chief before me and Jon sorted it out. I just wanted to write an uptempo song about having fun. It’s pretty self-explanatory, again. But then, you know, I was having some girl problems at the time, and that crept into the verse. So, the chorus is about having fun with your friends, and then the verse is just like, well, you can’t really escape how you feel about what’s going on."
