Bobby Deol confesses Dillagi is his favorite film; says, "I would love some of those films to be re-released"

Bobby Deol, who is experiencing a career renaissance, expressed a sincere desire to see his 1999 picture Dillagi, one of his most beloved movies, return to the big screen. In an exclusive interview with India Today Digital, Bobby Deol confessed that Dillagi is still one of his favorite ventures. He stated, "Some films that do not perform well at the box office become cult pictures for you. Your audience and admirers suddenly develop a fondness for the same picture that failed to perform well in theaters. So I'd love to see some of those films re-released." The 55-year-old actor expressed respect for how certain films develop a devoted audience over time.

He continued, "My favourite film is Dillagi. My brother, Sunny Deol, directed it. It had amazing music, a great storyline, and it was his debut as a filmmaker. I adored the film, not only because my brother directed it, but also because of how it was presented. "I wish they could see that again."

In addition to Dillagi, Bobby Deol expressed a desire to see other films from his career return to the big screen. He stated, "The other films are still relevant because people enjoy the songs from Soldier, Gupt, and Bichhoo. Kareeb was also a stunning film that became a cult favorite. People are still talking about how much they enjoyed the picture, and the music was fantastic. So, I believe these films should be re-released. Currently, the actor is promoting his new feature Kanguva, which will mark his debut in the South film business. The film, starring Suriya and Disha Patani, is expected to be released on November 14.
