Vanguard to celebrate another birthday~! Everyone, say happy birthday to the man who loves JUSTICE, Kenji Mitsusada from Cardfight!! Vanguard!

Kenji Mitsuasda is one of the rivals introduced within the Cardfight!! Vanguard series and is another beloved character! He's a pro vanguard fighter who's always upholding the meaning of justice with the power of his friends and his trusty deck and ace unit, Daiyusha! Because of his headstrong love of justice and his caring nature, his friends often nickname him "Koutei" which can be translated as "Emperor"!

Personality wise, Koutei will always be a very friendly and caring man who loves justice throughout all iterations. He sincerely loves his teammates and, although dense, does his best to take care of them! He's always respecting his opponents and having fun with all of his cardfights, never being sad if he loses and always learning from his mistakes! He can be a bit airheaded though but that just adds to his charm!

Koutei runs a Dimension Police Clan deck, hailing from the Star Gate Nation, a nation filled with aliens, robots, cyborgs, and a bunch of other science fiction stuff that provides an immense amount of security for the entire planet. The Dimension Police clan specifically are your usual tokusatsu stuff that you often see on TV like Power Rangers and Super Sentai cause the Dimension Police Clan is filled to the brim with police officers who uphold the justice on Planet Cray and arrest criminals! Their play style revolves around gaining BIG amounts of power! It doesn't matter how, they'll find a way to achieve 30,000 attack stats or more! Koutei runs the popular Dimensional Robo archetype, the main police force that vanguard players think of when Dimension Police is mentioned! With the power of his Dimensional Robos and his starting card named Goyusha, all of them can combine with the power of Trans-Dimensional, and with Koutei as their pilot, Goyusha combines with his friends to form Super Dimensional Robo, Daiyusha! Throughout the series, Daiyusha has gotten multiple upgrades, but we'll talk about the original which just allows Daiyusha to deal an extra damage to your opponent when he hits, but only if Daiyusha has 14,000 or more power. In general, all versions of Daiyusha are very simple and involve gaining power and an extra damage, but that's why we've gotta go even further BEYOND! By combining with his friends once more and performing Ultimate Dimensional Combine, Daiyusha levels up in order to become Koutei's most recognizable ace card, creating Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha! Great Daiyusha follows up on the power gaining effects of Dimension Police by just...well...gaining more power. If you have the original Daiyusha, Great Daiyusha gains an extra +2,000 power! But if you have four or more damage, you can activate this skill! Daiyusha gains another +2,000 attack and deals an extra damage! With enough power, your opponent won't be able to guard ALL of your SUPER high powered attacks that reach 30,000 every turn!

EVEN THOUGH I'M AN EXPERT PLAYER WHO'S GOT A PRETTY GOOD WIN STREAK, I STILL STRUGGLE AGAINST DIMENSION POLICE! ALSO THE KOUTEI AI IN THE VANGUARD GAME ME AND MY SISTER HAVE IS TERRIFYING! IT'S SO HARD FOR US BOTH TO BEAT HIM! Legit I'm TERRIFIED of them-! But still, I do have a soft spot for Koutei and the Dimensional Robos, especially Dailiner! Dailiner's probably my favorite but this isn't about him. Plus, Koutei is very sweet and the Dimensional Robos remind me of Gundam and Super Sentai/Power Ranger zords lol.

The Dimension Police Extra Booster, "Cosmic Roar" is finally on sale! Today's card of the day is the RRR G Unit "99th Dimensional Robo Commander, Great Daiearth"!! We introduced him to the world on last week's "Weekly Vanga News Channel"... he's the new trump card of Dimensional Robo Decks!! Great Daiearth's special ability is that call two "Dimensional Robos" from your Deck in an emergency to fight by his side. It's an ability that perfectly fits the group's leader! And if your G Zone has 2 or more "Dimensional Robo" cards face-up, Daiearth gains an additional Critical! Of course, since your Heart needs to have a "Dimensional Robo", add him to your existing "Dimensional Robo" Deck. He should be able to play an active part in your new strategies!

As to how to get those cards face-up in your G Zone, during the first time you Stride, you should use the ability of your "Super Cosmic Hero, X-Tiger" to flip a card in the G Zone face-up. In some cases where an attacker just isn't enough, Stride to use his ability to Call them. During your next turn you'll be able to unleash an all-out attack and increase your Criticals!! Sleeves of "Great Daiearth" and "X-Tiger" are also being released today!! By all means, use them for your Deck!!

To tie in with "Cosmic Roar"'s release, we're putting up an FAQ of general questions for cards included in the set! Let's learn them to use your "Dimension Police" Deck!

Q. For "When so and so Attacks, and this card has a condition of its Power being ○○ or more", does a Boost count towards that Power?

A. Yes, it counts towards it.

Q. For "When so and so's Attack hits, and this card has a condition of its Power being oo or more", does a Trigger count towards that power?

A. Yes, it counts towards it.

Q. Does a +5000 bonus from a Trigger Effect count towards activating "This Unit's Power being increased by your card effect"?

A. Yes, it activates it. Trigger Effects count as "Card Effects".

Q. Can you use the "On Hit" ability of "New Century Beast, Zeal" if the opponent's Power increases over 8000 due to a Damage Trigger?

A. No, you cannot. An "On Hit" ability resolves after resolving a Damage Trigger, so you would not be able to Soul Charge or flip cards in the Damage Zone face-up.

Q. The opponent's power becomes 0 or less. What happens?

A. If a Unit's Power becomes 0 or less while it's on the field, you do not Retreat it. It a Unit's Power dips below 0, it is treated and calculated at a negative number value.

Today's card we're introducing is a new Brave from the Dimension Police Extra Booster, "Cosmic Roar", which goes on sale March 13th, 2015! "Dimensional Robo, Daijet" has an Activate ability, that once per turn, can return a Grade 3 in your Drop Zone to your Deck, to buff your Vanguard.

You don't even need to use a Counter Blast to use it, nor is this ability an "On Call" ability, it's an ability you can use every turn, as long as you can fulfill the cost. By adding your Grade 3 Units back to your Deck, the Instant Kill Break Ride Ability of "Super Dimensional Robo, Daikaiser" glitters and shines! You can place Grade 3s into the Drop Zone to pay the cost of cards like "Dimensional Robo, Daishield" and so such, which should let you prepare your strongest attack!!

By the way, "Cosmic Roar" contains the Limit Break 4 unleasher "Dimensional Robo, Dailion", which will let you aim for "Daikaiser" and his break ride. This new Extra Booster can instantly strengthen the super popular "Dimensional Robo Deck. Please look forward to more information coming up!

[Unit Lore]

A member of the Braves from another dimension on a mission protect the peace of the cosmos. He's a Dimensional Robot who looks like a Jet, and is said to be an incredibly powerful guy with flight and dog-fighting skills equal to that of Zanbird. On the planet Cray, he mostly handles transport and patrol jobs, and supports other machines due to his aerial mobility.

He arrived on Cray immediately after "Stride" and the "Time-Space Distortion" occurred, but he's a veteran fighter who instructed the rookies in their original dimension.

"The brave, the courageous, do not blindly throw themselves into the unknown... ... We fight with our power, knowing our roles, risking our lives for the sake of others. That is courage. That is what it means to truly be a hero."
