🌹 Who fell harder & who fell first?

I like to think that Dedue fell in love first but didn't realize it for several years. Shortly before Garreg Mach, Dimitri realized he was physically attracted to Dedue. Until their separation in Fhirdiad, though, neither was fully comfortable fully naming the emotions elicited by the other.

🍳 Who cooks & who sets off the smoke alarm trying to help?

Dimitri ruined Dedue's best mincing knife right after it was sharpened by /twisting the blade/, and Dedue politely but firmly forbid him from touching anything else. He is sometimes allowed to pour the cream sauce onto lasagna, with express permission.

💌 Who leaves little love notes & where do they hide them?

Not having played Hopes but knowing some of its contents, I am going to say that Dedue leaves affirmations and reminders in Dimitri's paperwork. "I have not left you, I am not gone, I will return to your side, I wish for nothing more than to remain beside you, We are both real, I am living, My love for you is real", etc kind of things.

🌿 Do they want kids/pets/plants together? What do they name them?

Yes to kids, Dimitri wants pets, Dedue wants plants and Dimitri is happy to support. The pets are named after relatives, plants are named with their Duscur words + diminuitive, children are mostly adopted and their own family names respected.

Found some scraps of DimiDue flavored writing while clearing out my gdocs!

DM: "Whatever darkness you fear taking over… It will not be victorious."

DB: "How can you believe that? How… can you be so sure?"

DM: "Your fears do not speak any louder than your actions do. As long as you remain true to what you want, you will always walk proudly forward."

DB: "And if what I want is no better than others?"

DM: "That is impossible. You would not have saved my life had you not wanted to build a better world. You would not have saved a foreign child you did not know, if you did not wish to see some small measure of hope saved for the future."

DB: "...I see. And… You will continue to believe this?"

DM: "With all sincerity."

DB: "I hope that I do not come to disappoint you."

"For you, I have felt desires drawn forth that I did not know I was capable of."

S: "You know, Felix says the prince he knew died on that day."

D: "And yet that day is when the prince I knew… was born. Baptized in his own tears, in the blood shed against his will. Christened in the char and soot of my former life. He could not even stand upright, but offered me his hand nonetheless. How could I not follow the man I saw forming, even then?"

S: "Wow. That was kinda beautiful. Hey, have you ever thought about standing in the front of the class and saying something like that?"

D: "...Absolutely not." *blushing*
