if you’d like to and have the time, what would a Petra x Ashe family look like? Either from a parent-kid perspective or a sibling dynamics perspective :) have a great day!! Thank you for these wonderful characters :D

I'll focus on the siblings aspect this time around. I do a lot for the parents and I really want to highlight how the kids interact with one another, especially when they're so different like this.

I am loving these colour palettes. Cillian with freckles is so special to me. He just can never look bad or awkward ever. And Darling is so adorable, as always. Those magentas really suit her!

🏝️Children of the Blue Suns⚜️

Quiet and reserved, bombastic and extroverted -- a very iconic combination.

While it is likely that Darling wouldn't be Cillian's only younger sibling, she would probably be the one who latches onto and follows him everywhere. Going hunting? She's already packed her bow, ready to go! Headed to the ocean? "Me, too! Me, too!" she'd say.

Of course, there would be days he prefers to be alone. It may take some convincing to get her to stay behind and play with their other siblings instead, but when he'd come back from wherever he was going, she would be ready for him with a volley of questions.

Being crown prince is a big responsibility. Much is required of him and expected of him once it is his turn to seat the throne of Brigid. But having his little sister around would make it less heavy. She wouldn't have the burdens he has, and thus is free to do what she wants. It would only bring him great pleasure to know she'd want to be a knight - or at least a great hero - of Brigid, helping to keep the people safe.

She would be a Blue Suns knight, and he the King of Brigid.

And what could be better? To Darling, being a princess would be amazing! But a knight as well? Or even a great hero, known far and wide? That would be even better. Maybe she would even set sail for lands far from Brigid and bring home tales of her many exploits to her dear brother, letting him know she was not only alright but better than alright -- a hero! Swashbuckling rogue of Fodlan, Brigid, and beyond!

When all is said and done, she might even write her own story books for him to read to his children one day. The little princes and princesses of Brigid born to the new King of Brigid would surely love to hear tales of their Auntie Darling across the sea... and so would he.

Cross-House Ship Week Collection

I wrote seven fics for Cross House Ship week, @/fe3hcrosshouse on Bluesky.

Day 1: Balthus/Manuela, post-Verdant Wind. The two of them head to Almyra to meet up with Khalid, who has been crowned King of Almyra.

Day 2: Raphael/Bernadetta, post-Crimson Flower. The two lovebirds are celebrating their 10th anniversary, with friends and loved ones.

Day 3: Monica/Lysithea, post-Scarlet Blaze. Lysithea has just gotten surgery to reverse the effects of her Crest, and is now resting in Ochs territory with Monica. Overall lighthearted but discusses their shared trauma.

Day 4: Dimitri/Ferdinand, a fic set post-Azure Moon where Dimitri and Ferdinand have tea together, followed by a homoerotic spear fight.

Day 5: f!Shez/Lysithea, a fic set during the events of Scarlet Blaze. A mix of sexy duelling, friendly competition, and a sapphic tea party.

Day 6: Petra/Ashe, set after an unspecified route. Petra brings Ashe to her homeland to share the beauty of the ocean with him.

Day 7: Dorothea/Lysithea, set during the events of early Azure Moon. Both have abandoned their homelands, but stick together as they both face hardship.

I had a lot of fun exploring ships that I had never written before, and writing fics across different routes. I had a Dedue/Hubert and an Erwin/Balthus in the works, but they didn't get completed in time for the event.
