It was and early morning by nocturnal schedule, when a LOUD knocking---more a banging actually- at Dimitri's dorm room, echoed across the whole hallway. It was a WONDER, Rose did not wake the whole floor up. She already, had woken up half of the boy's moroi dorm as she pulled Christian out of his bed couple hours ago, and dragged his half asleep royal ass across the campus, cursing him for being such a heavy sleeper.
It took additional half an hour then CONVINCE him to actually help her, once he found out WHAT her emergency was.
Once Dimitri's door opened, Rose pushed a prefectly wrapped red box in his hands, hoping for his guardian instincts to kick in.(The wrapping also was Christian's work, just as the content of the box was, since Rose could NEVER do any crafting to look decent enough).

Rosemarie whispered in over dramatic manner that was completely opposite to her previously loud behaviour. She did a parody of reverance and galloped down the hallway in a cheerful manner, satisfied with herself.
Inside the box was a heart shaped chocolate cake, with drawing of silver stakes circling, what seemed to be a dead strigoi (well, Christian was not the best artist, but the cooking must be worth the effort) with a frosting note on it saying: "I am gifting myself a free-of-running-laps-day, eat a cake to not miss me too much!"
