This Pickle Juice Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich combines the tangy flavor of pickle juice with crispy fried chicken, creating a delicious and satisfying sandwich experience. Perfect for lunch or dinner!
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup pickle juice. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 cup buttermilk. Vegetable oil for frying. 4 sandwich buns. Lettuce, pickles, and mayo for serving.
Instructions: Put chicken breasts in a bowl and cover them with pickle juice. Put it in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight with the lid on. Sprinkle flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. Mix them together. In a second shallow dish, pour the buttermilk. In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C. Take the chicken out of the pickle juice and coat each breast in the flour mixture. Then, dip each breast in the buttermilk and coat it again in the flour mixture. Fry chicken breasts in hot oil for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Take the chicken out of the oil and put it on paper towels to drain. If you want, you can toast the sandwich buns first. Then, put fried chicken breasts on the buns and add lettuce, pickles, and mayo on top. Serve right away and enjoy!
