it’s hard to think that it isn’t, given everything that’s happened over the years. the first park had come into existence when he was a child, and when it hit the news it had felt like a fever dream. then jurassic world opened. the dinosaurs had filled him with hope, at first. the promise of new science. a cure for his skin condition, maybe. or at very least a treatment.

then that dream, too, had been shattered. now he looks like this; the very fiber of his being spliced with that of the same creatures that have caused so much pain and suffering. so yeah, it’s hard not to think of it all as cursed. and he along with it.

waylon looks down at her like he’s trying to see exactly what she’s thinking right now. he huffs through his nostrils, flicks his tail against the ground.
