i need disability and i need it now (it’s been a year and a half, i know i have a long way to go)

i just can’t handle constantly trying to get a job just so i can have insulin to live. i can’t stand this anymore

So filing for disability is a hell scape. It's confusing intentionally, it's set up to deny you, and it hates the people it's meant to help. Finding people that genuinely want to help you is so fucking hard.

Which is why today was so lovely. During my last appeals process, I worked with a law firm that represented me, and they were amazing and helpful. I had the appointment with the disability doctor and it was all of 15 minutes maybe. :/

Also I started crying because it made me think about how my life used to be and got me real sad. Now I'm like "great, he's gonna think I'm trying to manipulate him". :/
